Luo Zhen's enormous dowry carried into the Pei residence in a long procession. The sandalwood chests were trimmed with gold, with one chest worth more than half of Madam Zhou's entire dowry. The procession of box carriers was so long that Luo Zhen had already traveled a considerable distance before they finished exiting the Luo residence.
