Overlord is the closest I can think of? Don’t think its quite what ur looking for tho… Trying to think of any but none stay fighting humans, and normally it isn’t cus they hate humans but more of just that faction. The closest one I can think of is “Book of the dead”, guy gets a forbidden class and is forced to lose it or die, ends up having to go on the run. His nice at the start but currently in book 2 his gotten to the point where he would slaughter a village if it meant getting closer to his goal, which is pretty much destroying everything which decided he had to die. Also has dark gods and cuthulu aspects.

it is a harem a big one at that initial 30 chapters might be weird but boyy you couldn't be more wrong the development progression etc are one of the best I have seen in a sm*t...
and mc is quite smart he is a d**ch*b*g but a gentleman to his family and friends
lastly first 180 chapters are only intro with fluff and romantic development
real sh*t starts after that

Absolutely in love with this book! I love the weaving you do with the characters and their internal struggles, just how much Hollyhock can /see/ and process. And goodness, Hazel’s too good for this world, too pure. And man, if it weren’t for the murder I’d love being a Bay Leaf for the colorful family members alone ❤️ keep up the great work. The world you’ve built is gritty, harsh, and heart achingly beautiful.

I am surprised this book has so few reviews. It is one of the few books I am not bored of even after 400+ chapters. It doesn't contains too many cliches usually present in the cultivation novels and provides a fresher take than the usual cultivation novel. I personally liked it and would recommend others give it a try.
Very nice historian concept of writing,just read to chapter 4 but like it so far.Keep up,cause readers will want to read more
OMG! unexpected treasure. I'm surprised there's only this amount of view that deserves more. Tho I recommend bolding the notification it will pop out more for the readers.
