Okay, let's talk about Jun Moye for a second because this kid is doing something genuinely impressive here. His mother literally threatens to dash her head against the wall—like, full-on suicide threat—to force him to choose between her and his wife. That's not just manipulative, that's psychological warfare. And yet he doesn't crack. He says the line: "You will always be my mother" but also makes it clear he's not abandoning Su Hanchu. That's not easy to do when your mom is holding a knife to her own life. But what really got me is Su Hanchu's reaction. She's a transmigrator, right? She knows exactly what trope she's in—the classic "choose between mother and wife" drama. And instead of playing along or trying to win over the mother-in-law, she just... suggests divorce. Like, coolly and practically. "Jun Moye can write a letter of separation." She's not trying to compete with Chen Siyu. She's not trying to earn Chen Wenqiao's approval. She's looking at the whole toxic setup and saying "nope, I'm out." And Jun Moye? He gets mad. Not because he actually wants to divorce her, but because she offered to leave him. Watch him later, peeling chestnuts and sliding them into her hand like some awkward teenager. That's a guy who's furious she'd even consider walking away, but has no idea how to say it without sounding like an idiot. The father, Jun Linfeng, is interesting too. Gentle voice, but absolutely decisive. He doesn't yell or threaten—he just lays down the law and everyone obeys. Chen Wenqiao realizes instantly that her authority is over. "Wen Qiao, take them. From now on, don't make things difficult." One sentence and she's cowed. This man played the long game, waited until his son was born before even considering concubines, and now he's reasserting control without raising his voice once. Scary guy. Love him.
Okay I need to talk about the stakes in this chapter because they are NOT subtle and I am HERE for it. Let's start with Li Wanran vs. Lady Zhang. This isn't just petty rivalry—this is life-or-death palace politics disguised as gossip. When Li Wanran reveals that Lady Zhang caused her sprain, she's not just getting revenge. She's eliminating a threat. In this world, a concubine without the Prince's favor is vulnerable. Without protection, she's dead. Lady Zhang understood this instinctively and tried to physically harm Li Wanran in the garden. Li Wanran just turned that attack into her greatest weapon. But the real conflict that got me is the one between Lady Song and everyone else. She's not angry. She's not shouting. She's sitting calmly, drinking tea, destroying lives with gentle words. That's scarier than any villain I've read in this genre. The stakes with Song aren't about who gets the Prince—they're about who controls the narrative. She's playing the long game, and everyone else is too busy being jealous to notice. And Yinzhen's internal conflict! He's torn between duty and desire, between the multiple women in his harem and the one he actually cares about. When he feels 'an even greater distaste for this Concubine Zhang who had appeared out of nowhere,' it's not just jealousy—it's protectiveness. He's starting to see the palace for what it is: a place where kindness is weakness and weakness is death. The tension in this chapter is relentless because the author never lets us forget: in this world, every conversation is a battle, every smile is a strategy, and every mistake could be your last.
Author review! Here's what to expect:Two of the sweetest male leads ever. Give them a shot! They'll grow on you quick <3High fantasy world - MC swaps places with a villain, and ML is a fairy (Nephilim).Slow burn romance - but from the moment the two characters lay eyes on each other, they're instantly connected.High quality writing. No NPC behavior here - every character is layered, and has their own motivations, dreams, and secrets. No instant-OP everything. Magic and system unfold naturally and develops with the plot. (Eventually) some of the highest quality R-18 you can find. Deep, layered, emotional intimacy that advances their relationships - and is also - really - hot :DHave any questions for me directly? Reply to this review! I hope to make this story one of the top BL novels on WebNovel and that all starts with your support!

An incredibly engaging novel! The first chapter hooked me instantly, making me eager to keep reading. The dialogues are smooth and well-written, and the descriptions are solid. However, it would benefit from a bit more depth in exploring the characters' emotions and expressions.
[Shameless Author Review]You wanna see a broken MC beat ass and also get ass? What about building his empire from the ground up, literally? One nation two nations? No, I need everything! The same goes for the ladies~ XDKeep in mind that the book is semi-realistic, with a detailed magic system and equipment that actually matters in a fight, like in a game. Also, I'm open to suggestions about what type of harem characters you'd like to see included. But enough yapping from me! I look forward to bringing you a great story and I hope to see you guys between the pages?
I love the story, and I hope the author can update it frequently—ideally once a week, or whenever possible.
Interesting world building, your MC is actually one of a kind. Keep it up
Hello, dear readers. I don't have much to say, just that if you like this novel and show your appreciation by adding the book in the library, sharing your thoughts in comments and reviews! have a good read!
Yes I am shamelessly giving myself a 5 star. so you guys feel free to comment anything you feel about the story, the pacing or the plot later on the story.
The beginning of this book is truly a banger. You are thrust immediately into the action, and the world building and character development happen naturally, without feeling forced. I am looking forward to future updates of this story : )
I like this shouta’s journey from an ordinary teen to a powerful figure in a magical world is thrilling! Mystery, magic, and epic battles. But maybe the way shouta reincarnated/transmigrated can be more interesting if doesn't hit by car/truck like basic isekai story.
