Okay, so I need to talk about Zhang Zhaodi because this is the thing that's been haunting me since I finished this chapter. Like, she literally used to sleep beside Xu Zhitao every night. The kid thought she was her mom. And now? Polite smiles, distant words, like she's looking at a stranger. That's not just awkward—that's devastating when you're a child who just got dragged back to the only family she knew. But here's what actually got me: the Old Lady's explanation. Zhang Zhaodi lost a pregnancy at six months, and since then her mind hasn't been right. She's not cruel—she's broken. And Xu Zhitao, who literally died and came back as a ghost for five years, still says "she always gave me her treats, held me often." That's not naive. That's the kind of grace that comes from someone who has suffered enough to recognize suffering in others. The cousins are another whole thing. Changsheng, Changsong—they brought her wild berries like nothing happened. Just... remembered she liked them. And then when they left the room, their faces dropped. They knew something was wrong. They're protective without being asked. That's the kind of sibling energy you don't find everywhere. And Xu Yongze—three years older and already acting like a dad. The whole hair-ruffling, canned-fruit-sharing, "you're amazing" dynamic between them is so natural it made me want to yell at my screen. He's the uncle who's basically a cool older brother, and she's the niece who finally has someone to tease back. Their banter isn't forced. It's the kind of relationship that built itself over years of shared snacks and secret mountain trips. But the real relationship pivot is the Old Lady. She's impartial, busy, runs a whole family—but when Xu Zhitao hugs her arm and says "Grandma treats me the best," there's this moment where the matriarch softens in a way that feels earned. Not favoritism. Just... recognition. This child is carrying too much for ten years old, and Grandma sees it. The question that keeps spinning in my head: can Zhang Zhaodi remember again? Or is this permanent? And if she does remember, will she be able to face what she's done? Because that's the real conflict here—not the obvious Guo Hongying villainy, but the quieter, more complicated hurt of someone who loved you and then forgot you existed.
Okay, I have to address Wang Juan because this character is a gift. The dialogue around her is so sharp and natural that I literally had to pause and appreciate it. Let me just quote this exchange because it's comedy gold: "Aren't we all going to the same place to contribute to our country? Shouldn't we help each other? How can you be so heartless?" That is textbook moral blackmail, delivered with such conviction. And Song Fanghua's response? Absolute silence. Just turning her face toward the window. The contrast between Wang Juan's performative outrage and Fanghua's icy indifference is hilarious. But what I really appreciate is how each character has a distinct voice. Xu Wanqiu speaks with genuine warmth — "From now on, we'll be comrades and should help each other out!" — and it feels authentic, not forced. Wang Juan's dialogue is all sharp edges and demands, full of exclamation points and accusations. And Song Fanghua? She barely speaks. When she does, it's short, direct, and loaded with unspoken meaning. "No swap." Two words that shut down an entire conversation. The instant noodle scene is where the dialogue really shines though. The trafficker family's performance is so over-the-top — the crying child, the worried wife, the guilty husband — and Wang Juan falls for every second of it. Meanwhile, Song Fanghua is quietly observing, connecting dots that nobody else sees. The dialogue here does double duty: it entertains while also revealing character. Wang Juan's inability to read between the lines says everything about her. And Fanghua's silence says even more.
Detail power system explanation. good starts
I won’t say that my novel is the best one out there that you’ll ever read, but it will surely let you enjoy reading it.
I really enjoyed the story so far. What went well- very good building of the setting with intriguing characters to back it up.In depth view of the characters and their thought process.Improvements- tone a tad bit down with the description, especially of the girs, as too much of it makes it lose it’s purpose and can instead make it seem repetitive. Overall enjoyable read. Keep it up.
I just finished reading the prologue, and I'm completely captivated! Your opening immediately grabs the reader with its intriguing premise: a powerful but morally bankrupt hero inadvertently creates a monster far worse than the Demon King. The philosophical questions you raise about the nature of good and evil are both thought-provoking and perfectly set the stage for the dark fantasy world you're building. The framing device of the "Narrator Behind the Curtain" is a clever touch, adding a layer of meta-narrative charm that enhances the overall storytelling. The introduction of Iróas is masterful. He's not your typical heroic archetype; instead, he's a chillingly compelling anti-hero, whose actions reveal a character driven by self-interest and a disturbing lack of empathy. The use of the system to showcase character stats is a brilliant addition, subtly highlighting the power dynamics at play and underscoring the hero's manipulative nature. The contrast between his technologically advanced domain and the medieval kingdom he's tasked with protecting is striking, further emphasizing his detachment and the looming sense of impending doom. The suspense builds relentlessly throughout the chapter. The king's growing realization that he's unleashed an uncontrollable force, and the subtle hints of the hero's manipulation, create a palpable sense of unease and dread. The ending, with the hero departing the royal court, leaves a lingering chill and a powerful sense of anticipation for the catastrophic consequences to come. This is a darkly brilliant start to a webnovel that promises a thrilling and morally complex story.
Well it's good so far. The author immersed us in the world and gives depth to the characters. Just one thing, your chapters should be more structured and not move from 500words to 1.7k in the next. Also, change the name to something more enticing. But still, good work author, recommendable book.
I liked the main character and the story universe is interesting+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Beautiful, actually better written than many successful authors I've read from. While Jerald may have had a hand in that, it doesn't discredit the amazing work you've put in. There are literally only 2 things I would change, letting us know who's POV we switched with a sub-header, and letting us know when timeskips happens, other than than, perfect
Wow I can’t wait for next chapter. The author really captures your attention from the onset .Nox jouney takes him through shock, survival, pain, relief etc I also felt that … I am rooting for Nox .

The writing is fun and vivid, the progression in levels and skills is consistent, with each accounted for.Its plot structure and characters, the personalities, and everything, they click.Yes, they click. 10 outta 10, and better than other factory-produced creatures that pervade this place.Happy reading. Happy writing.
