A young boy, one of the children traveling with Lin Yue. He is responsible, hardworking, and deeply cares for his sister Da Ya and Lin Yue. He carries his life-saving money (left by his brother Gu Cai) on a string of coins tied in knots, keeping it close to his body. He is shy about using the latrine but is becoming more trusting of Lin Yue. He wants to save money because their relatives in Mayang Village are hostile.
