I need to be honest with you all—the scene where Xie Yushu buys that bowl of congee and a fried dough stick with her last seven coppers genuinely caught me off guard emotionally. On the surface it's just a food scene, right? She's hungry, she spends her money, she eats. But underneath it, this woman has lost everything. Her job, her family (all dead except an aunt in town), her reputation, her home. And she's sitting in a little shop spending five of her seven remaining coppers on a meal that's basically a luxury she can barely afford. The way the author describes it—savory congee with dried shrimp and minced meat, the fried dough stick deep-fried golden and crispy, dunking it in the broth—this isn't just food porn, it's a moment of her reclaiming something. A small thing, yes, but hers. And then there's the Luo Qi betrayal thread that keeps haunting the narrative. The original owner had only ONE friend, and that friend actively destroyed her life. That's not just a plot device, that's a deeply personal wound. The text says the original owner was "already timid from years of abuse at her aunt's house" when Luo Qi lured her in. So she had no support system, no one to turn to, and the person she trusted most was the one who pulled the rug out from under her. I found myself genuinely angry just reading about it. Xie Yushu's long sigh—"She'd lost count of how many times she'd sighed today"—that line hit me because it's not dramatic or overwrought, it's just exhausted. She's carrying so much and she's still moving forward. That's the kind of emotional restraint that makes you care more than any big dramatic scene ever could.
great world building and the update schedule has definitely been really nice. the writing is pretty solid, and i really REALLY like the atmosphere of the book. def recommend!
wowI didn't expect it to be this nice Keep it up ?
Good novel but it would be much better if it was harem I know you don’t not like writing harem story but this kind of novel is the best for harem.
Reading this TNO Sequel and DamnIt really is a Harsh World NowThis is not VR anymoreNobody starts off same infact they have headstart of a few years to centuriesAnd TheBoss Leo starts off from scratch now, plus the penalty of Memory LossClans and Great organisations already existBacked by Gods of Unknown PowerAtleast in VR you could start relatively same, just strong class and sector benifits were there at startThe peak power limit is higher now Grandmaster, Transcendent, Monarch, Demigods and Gods, and beyond? Hmm?Can't wait to see what's there for Leo

This novel is amazing! Im giving it a 5 star. The passion and attraction, the twisted love shown by the main character is truly commendable. The webtoon is awesome. Im hooked and inlove!
I read the initial versions of this and, even then, I saw the potential this story had. It was just so fun. It has some of the tropes (betrayals, contract marriage) but Hans molded them creatively. Whether it is the plot, execution, or the characters (love you, manbun), it is guaranteed to be a fresh read amidst the overtly-similar stories of this genre.
please add a review guys, thank you so much
An intriguing story, the plot is interesting and the way it’s described is pretty simple and easy to understand and doesn’t rushed up. Love the dialogue are represented seeing something new. I highly recommend it
