Let's talk about the visual texture of this world because the author is playing with contrast like a damn painter. You've got the city of Tongzhou described with "flickering neon lights making it as bright as day" and then you cut to Taiwei Mountain, perpetually shrouded in mist, lush greenery, spiritual qi so dense you can practically feel it through the prose. It's not just setting description—it's thematic. The modern world and the cultivation world occupying the same space, one literally hidden inside the other. The alleyway scene where Tang Ximo rescues Yin Shu is cinematic to the point of annoyance. Five bullies surrounding a girl by a garbage pile, purple hair, yellow smoke, greasy kitchen waste—every detail is painted in. And then Tang Ximo appears at the entrance like some kind of urban legend, and with one word sends them rolling out of the alley like discarded toys. The image of five kids literally rolling on the ground like puppets is both hilarious and deeply unsettling. That's the tone this book operates in: horror and comedy sharing the same breath. The moment that stuck with me the most though is Fu Yan on the plane. A young man who can't sleep, pressing his thumb hard into the webbing of his hand, watching a figure sit on a sword and eat skewers above the clouds. The mundane act of eating takeaway while sword-flying—this is the book's visual signature. Cultivation isn't grand and majestic here; it's casual, it's hungry, it's happening above a commercial flight at night. "Under the starry sky, the city of Tongzhou was brightly lit" — and then she vanishes into it. The city swallows her. The academy appears overnight and nobody notices. This is a world where the extraordinary is happening right under everyone's nose and they're too busy living their lives to see it. That's not just good worldbuilding, that's dread and wonder in equal measure.
This chapter is a masterclass in layered plotting. On the surface, it's a face-slapping scene where Chen Miaomiao dominates the Chen family members through sheer intimidation. But dig deeper and you find a plot that's been carefully wound around a central mystery: what happened to the original host during those three years? The author drops this bombshell casually—Chen Chuqing mentions Chen Miaomiao has been gone for three years, and suddenly the transmigrator's assumption of seamless connection shatters. Three years! The original host went from a abused wretch to someone dressed in treasures with icy skin and jade bones. How? The plot doesn't answer this yet, but it hooks you desperately. The kneeling scene itself is brilliant narrative misdirection. Chen Miaomiao makes them kneel, rise, kneel again—over a dozen times. It's cruel, theatrical, and reveals her Yuanying Laozu status while simultaneously showing her playful, almost sadistic side. But here's the thing: even this dominance scene serves the larger plot. It establishes her power level, her personality, and creates the tension that makes Chen Chuqing's invitation to Yunluo Chenjia feel earned rather than forced. The subplot about the third-level Liandanshi is genius worldbuilding integrated into plot. Yunluo Chenjia suddenly producing a high-level alchemist explains their overnight rise and gives Chen Miaomiao a reason to investigate. The author is planting seeds everywhere—the spatial pouch, the mysterious treasures, the original host's transformation. Each detail feels connected, building toward revelations that will presumably recontextualize everything we've read.
Very bad starting as author makes mc looks like a mental patient, he behaves pathetically and still calls other people pathetic. Always angry and complaining... Author could have used 2 to 3 chapters in transmigrating but he takes he's time as if testing the patience of readers making the whole 15 chapters before he can even start something. I mean i get the plot okay? But you could have used many other ways to start a story instead of prolonging the chapters over hospital.. Then chatting with righteous one... Etc.
Aziel’s story begins with quiet determination, and I appreciated the worldbuilding around the Artemis orphanage and the mysterious figure in the woods. The academy arc is shaping up to be full of potential rivalries and growth. I’m curious to see how Aziel overcomes the obstacles in his path and rises through the ranks. Looking forward to seeing where this story goes!
saya sangat suka alurnya dimana tak pernah mengalami nasip baik

Hello, shameless author here! (blushes in writer's block) This is my very first BL novel, and let me tell you, I’ve been obsessed with this story for ages. I’ve dreamt about the plot, the characters, and even finished the entire thing in my sleep! (Dream me is way more productive, apparently.)Thank you for giving my little brainchild a chance and adding it to your library. You’re the real MVPs! To everyone supporting this messy, imperfect work of art—I love you all more than Theron loves gadgets!
Off to a great start! Waiting to hear more.
