Let me just say—Xia Miao is the most fascinating character in this entire story. She's not some damsel in distress waiting to be saved. She's out here literally commanding a murder ghost, docking his points like he's a misbehaving puppy, and she's not even afraid of him. Remember this line: "You're allowed to kiss me, but I'm not allowed to kiss you? That's not fair." She's setting rules, establishing boundaries, and making him work for it. That's not someone who's selling herself for survival—that's someone who's genuinely in control. And Lu Yan? Oh my god, the way he transforms from this terrifying bandaged figure into this complete simp is incredible. He's a murderer, a ghost, something scary—and yet he's blushing, stuttering, getting flustered over the simplest gestures. When Xia Miao invites him into her room and he immediately says yes like a lovesick teenager? Perfect. The contrast between his external appearance (bandaged, creepy, powerful) and his internal state (soft, embarrassed, devoted) is chef's kiss. But here's what really gets me—their dynamic. They're both playing games with each other. Xia Miao pretends she's just being kind, that she's not into him. Lu Yan pretends he's just following the rules of the point system. But they both know exactly what's happening. The scene where they're lying in the dark and he's secretly touching her pinky finger while asking about his score? That's the moment I knew they were genuinely falling for each other. He's counting points, but she's counting kisses.
Intresting start of the story waiting for more chapters.
Ever seen that one book you just can't put down. Well, this is bound to get you exactly into that mood.A true adventures into the secrets that people keep to themselves .... desires.
I just started this book and I'd like to beg you author...please don't screw this up, with those kinds of abilities, the MC should be a cold and cunning villian,or someone who priorities power over relations..he can have relationships but it shouldn't limit him...anything less will just be a wasted ability on him
Me is shamelessly giving myself five star. Thanks for checking out this book. It contains, explicit scenes, abuse, anxiety, fight scenes, war. Lies and so much more... Do leave a review, tell me what you think. Thanks.
I do have some mixed feelings about the pacing. The humor is great, but there are moments where it leans so heavily into the joke that it risks stalling the plot. I found myself wanting just a little more progression, some moments where the story pushes forward rather than circling back to another misunderstanding. It never drags too much, but with a story this long, I wonder if it will keep up the momentum. But beyond just being funny, there’s a cleverness to the way everything unfolds. The misunderstandings aren’t just random, they’re layered, building on each other in ways that somehow make perfect (and completely ridiculous) sense. The way the world reacts to the protagonist feels natural, which makes it even funnier. There’s something satisfying about watching a character struggle against forces bigger than him, especially when those forces are just people being incredibly, infuriatingly convinced of something that isn’t true or maybe true?.
I’ve tried and eventually you have to accept reality. Writing quality is mediocre at best as is this writing style. I can poke holes in every omniscient moment the characters have loopholes that the author makes to seem non existent. Flat characters on numerous contradictions have done this is in. All in all average level of entertainment and execution isn’t worth staying upto date on.
this story has captivated me with intriguing scene granted to read?
Seems MC lost contact with his mother at such an early age. .. but in all. .. it's a story with excellent story plot .. and above all. .. quality writing .. .great job author.

as of the latest chapter (80) I've noticed that the author seems to want to get away from a cultivation novel and I think it's a good idea especially because Cards are a great idea. and the way cards are used here is really unique I love it!
As an all time fan of the author I could help but be excited now that his second book in the same universe/multiverse exsists! And oh boy I am not disappointed so far so here is MY HONEST REVIEW :systems yes with an S! At the end amazing building of this idea and same goes for his first book WAO whole civilizations exsist running by systems.World building : God damn! It's beautiful! It feels alive even though it's dead?.Power systems : everything exsists ! Magic, cards, occultism, cultivation, technology MECHS ect... Which is questionable at first but the way the author blends and connected everything makes it an absolutely magical and living idk how to say it so it works like a well oiled machine.Main character : I bloody love him! He uses his head.Side characters: THEY ARE ALIVE! they feel alive not just 2d bs like most others.Villains : smarter than anything you've seen.Face slapping : nothing so far!! No young masters and no sh1t like it.Everything in the plot is connected and makes sense.Overall : life, death, robots. Literally! banana out of 10
