Okay, the palace banquet scene. Let me just say — the author knows how to build atmosphere. Song Yuejiao looking up at the 'majestic palace wall' with calm face but sweaty palms. The chatter falling silent when she stands up. The emperor lowering his eyelids so you can't read him. The empress frowning slightly then smiling at the concubine. The concubine wanting to 'rush over and slash the woman's face' but having to pretend she saw nothing because she's a noble concubine and everyone is staring. Every character in that room has a different internal reaction, and the author gives us all of them in quick succession. It's like a camera panning across a crowded table, catching micro-expressions. The concubine's realization that Song Yuejiao looks like her — younger and more beautiful — and her forced composure? Chilling. And then the emperor's sudden decree: 'I confer the title of Princess of Chaoyang County on your beloved Song's daughter.' Just like that. One moment Song Yuejiao is terrified, the next she's a county princess and everyone is recalculating. The contrast between the opulent palace setting and Song Yuejiao's internal panic is also fantastic. She's thinking about strawberries and whether she'll survive the day, while everyone around her is playing elaborate social games. And the sugar painting stall earlier — such a grounded, warm moment before everything escalates. These shifts in tone and setting keep the world feeling alive and unpredictable.
Okay so I need to talk about Lu Huaijin because this man is absolutely unhinged and I cannot stop thinking about him. The scene with the two hounds—Heihu and Tiejia—was genuinely chilling. He brings them to Su Yao's courtyard like some kind of twisted security system. And the way he makes them kneel? That's not just dominance, that's psychological warfare. He's showing her that even her worst trauma is something he controls. "They only listen to me. What about you?" The way he says that, it's not even a question. It's a statement wrapped in a threat wrapped in a whisper. But here's what gets me—the contrast. Three years ago he saved her from the Music Bureau, and now she's his prisoner. He literally tells her "if it weren't for me saving you back then, you would still be serving others." He's built their entire relationship on a foundation of debt and obligation, as if her life belongs to him because he chose to intervene that one night. And then there's Lu Chuyao. The brother figure who waits in the snow for hours. When Su Yao sees him and faints from the emotional overload—that's the moment I knew this author really understands human complexity. She's torn between the man who owns her and the one who still treats her like the sister she used to be. Her line to him: "I'm not the same Su Yao I used to be. We shouldn't see each other anymore." That's not rejection. That's protection. She's trying to shield him from the wreckage of her life. The most devastating detail? The mutton-fat jade hairpin. He rode thirty miles through snow last year just to give it to her. And now the Empress Dowager is arranging his marriage to a noble lady. The man who once risked everything for a hairpin is now being married off like a political asset. And Su Yao? She's still in that desolate garden, three years without a title, while everyone around her whispers that she's just a "passing fancy." The tragedy isn't that he might marry someone else. The tragedy is that she already believes she was never anything more.
this is such an addicting webnoevl. the storyline was good and also the cherecters emotions were chosen vividly. I would live to read more and what's the best is that their is room for improvement ♡

This plot is different from the cliche ones I'm used to and this makes it unique and intriguing , I'm obsessed !!
Story is little bit slow but concept is good. Good keep it up. This new your rewrite version is better than last you deleted. Let's say your story have potential to earn something.
good story and does this story inspired from SCP Foundation ?
This is great so far. I haven't finished, but I really like the writing style and the characters. Excited to see what more you end up writing.
great storyline I like the writer's writing style and overall story is great
I rarely write reviews but this whole story was a massive disappointment. Going into this I thought it would be really good due to the amount of 5 star reviews and the concept of the novel however I was quickly disappointed. There a three main issues that I have with this novel1. The author has a weird grasp of economics, the way the currency was setup up had problems from the beginning however these could be overlooked until the author decided to start adding USD conversion at which point everything went downhill. For perspective the author claims that maids in the MCs family get paid a relatively high wage of 1 gold a month. However the author later says that 1,000 gold = $10,000 (1 gold = $10) meaning that the maids make less than 1/560 of the average monthly salary in the US. This could maybe make sense if the MC was in a third world country where labor costs were low however the MC is the son of the richest family in the world and obviously does not live in a poor area. I got past this point however and kept reading, however shortly after when the MC introduces chess it is priced at 100 bronze per set which would be $0.001 per set. You can buy ramen in most gas stations for $1 meaning 1 ramen noodles container = 1,000 chess sets. Make it make sense. Again this would maybe be fine if the author didn’t bring up the amount the MC made in USD repeatedly. 2. The MC tries to implement modern social practices that do not make sense in a medieval setting onto this world (e.g. The MC tries to force all the house staff to work a maximum of 8 hours per day and no more, great thought except it makes no sense in a medieval society where work hours are determined by sunrise and sunset) 3. Cringe / Cliche. Everything seems to always work out perfectly for the MC with little to no effort, MC follows reincarnator 101 on steroid template to make money using modern ideas but has an AI that does all the work and creates perfect blueprints. What really irked me though was the MC just straight up giving away the soap recipe to other people because he didn’t want to hurt their business and wanted everyone to live peacefully and happily. Verdict: Had and has potential, author should rewrite what they have an try again. Would not recommend reading until the author makes some edits and fixes some of the biggest issues specifically the currency.
