Is it true that the author forgets about Ariel and doesn't even talk about her at the end of the novel? I'm on chapter 300

Started out not really liking FL. But the story progress and she developed for the better. Can't wait for the revenge part.
Started strong but over time I really feel like this novel went downhill.
All of her weaknesses barely matters after just a few chapters and she becomes a generic op protag but this time blind.
. ........ It is a nice story and I am waiting for the new chapters ....
