Potato_Big
There's a reason this protagonist is a crop science PhD. It's not random—the entire novel seems built around the metaphor of seeds and what it takes for them to survive in hostile soil. Lin Shuyao is transplanted, just like a seedling moved from a greenhouse to a harsh new environment. The Southwest frontier is the plateau, the high altitude, the place where most things die. But she's not just any seed—she's someone who specifically studied plateau crops. Her expertise is her adaptability. The original Lin Shuyao was like a seed planted in the wrong soil. She gave everything—her research, her credit, her dignity—to Chen Zhiheng, who treated her contributions as 'trivial chores.' He harvested her labor and gave nothing back. Meanwhile, Lu Chengjing is the opposite: he doesn't ask for anything, doesn't perform gratitude, but he shows up. When she collapses, he's there. That's a different kind of cultivation—one based on action rather than words. I also can't ignore the symbolism of the 'iron rice bowl' her mother is furious she's giving up. In this era, a state-assigned job is security, stability, survival. But for Lin Shuyao, that 'iron rice bowl' is actually a death trap. The very institution that should protect her is what the original plot uses to destroy her. Her choice to leave it behind is a choice to trust herself rather than the system. That's a deeply personal rebellion wrapped in a political gesture. And then there's the red-headed document—the official transfer papers. It's described almost like a talisman, something sacred she clutches to her chest. In a world where bureaucracy can kill you (or save you), that stamp of approval is the difference between life and death. It's a small object carrying enormous weight, much like the seeds she'll eventually work with.
The dialogue in this section is absolutely vicious and I love it. Let me just highlight a few lines that stuck with me because the author has this incredible talent for making every conversation feel like a knife fight. General Yun: 'Your sister is going to marry the Crown Prince. Can that wild man of yours possibly compare to the Crown Prince?' — This line does SO much work. It reveals everything about how he sees his daughter: not as a person with feelings, but as a political asset whose value is measured against royal status. And the assumption that she has a 'wild man' — he doesn't even know the truth and he's already painted her as a whore. Yun Si Yu's shift in tone is masterful. One moment she's 'Father, please stop, she's your flesh and blood' and the next she's 'I actually have someone in mind' with that triumphant little smile. The dialogue makes you feel her calculating in real time. And the doctor scene — 'You're her husband, what's wrong with applying medicine?' — this is the kind of comedic relief that comes at the perfect moment. The doctor has zero filter and completely misreads the situation, which makes Mo Han Zhao's silence even funnier. It's a brief moment of levity in an otherwise suffocating chapter. Yun Mu Jing's dialogue is mostly quiet, broken, hesitant. 'I don't want to...' 'It's nothing.' 'Your Highness need not worry.' But that's the point — her voice is being erased by everyone around her, and the reader notices every silence.
.The plot twists in this story are insane! Just when I think I have it figured out, something new happens. Loving it!Romance, action, and mystery all wrapped up in a beautifully written story. This is a hidden gem!"
Hello great author, I'm a huge fan of your work! Your book left a lasting impression on me, and I believe it has the potential to reach even more readers. I'd be honored to share some thoughts on how to enhance its impact and visibility. Would you be open to hearing my thoughts?
One thing to say about the story- Love it! It's also so creepy! I felt like each chapter just shows how miserable miles had become after having a bug and becoming a glitch player bro haha but even so, he still persevered through the end! sadly it seems that i wouldn't be able to read the 40 chapter plus because its gonna be locked, but still in the mean time, ill enjoy it for now!I'm just looking forward to see Miles interaction with other "players'" because i feel like he is lonely :(Anyway, this is good! Definitely recommend to read it!
I Love girls like Marina. she takes nothing from anyone. just imagine that fool for abandoning her at the altar
The story is intriguing. I needed at least a few chapter to read get things going. I love how Shouichi is struggling with his intrusive thoughts. Well-written. The author cooked and served without leaving crumbs
Good author, I will follow your story here and abandon the other one. I hope you continue!...............................................................

I really like the novel so far ?, keep it up author!!!
I really love this novel ?. The author has created the world background and the character design to have such a unique quality to them that I usually find myself disappointed when I get to the end of the chapters. The only thing that I would love the author to get better at would be the consistency of the chapter updates. Aside from that, I believe that the author is doing a really good job with this novel.
