Worldofimagination
I didn’t read it.
? oh well, gonna read anyways since it's Yandere, the "selfless protag" tag is making me lose most of my interest tho
This novel is truly exceptional! Initially, I had a slight letdown due to the lack of romantic plot for the main character (MC), but now I appreciate that decision as it allows for a more focused storyline. Here are the aspects I've enjoyed:
1. The MC demonstrates remarkable adaptability, adjusting her demeanor according to each new world she encounters while maintaining a consistent moral compass within.
2. It offers a unique perspective, as compared to other Chinese web novels. The storytelling approach makes me reconsider how I perceive characters in typical cultivation narratives. Although some MCs appear overpowered or fortunate, this novel provides a more realistic and thought-provoking take on their journey.
3. What I find appealing is the MC's relatability and struggle, as she doesn't rely solely on extraordinary powers or external support – she faces challenges head-on.
4. The translation team deserves praise for their excellent work. The text flows smoothly and is easy to comprehend, even for non-native English speakers like myself, though occasionally complex sentences pose a challenge.
As for drawbacks, I'm struggling to come up with any at the moment. The only遗憾 is my inability to read the original Chinese, despite my eagerness to continue. Overall, a fantastic read!
Not bad. Worth reading.
Alrighty bois does the MC get NTRD in anyway shape or form?

This is a very cliché novel featuring a classic Japanese protagonist who is overwhelmingly kind, to the extent that he eats his meals from a bowl on the ground like a dog, and shows no inclination towards revenge despite his circumstances. Naturally, girls fall for him because of his kindness, strength, and his knack for saving them from monsters just in the nick of time.
I wouldn’t really recommend this novel to anyone, unless you’re new to light novels and haven’t encountered this plot countless times already, or if you have nothing else to read. At the very least, the translation here is excellent and won’t make you cringe like many machine-translated novels do.
I sought a light and unconventional read, and this one piqued my interest due to its peculiar title. Here's a breakdown:
1. Concept: The main character, an enigmatic entity, travels through time and takes over bodies of "scum males." He gains insight into the life of a female lead and aims to change her tragic fate for happiness. Afterward, he moves on to a new host.
2. Setting: Each arc occurs in a different time period and location, starting in modern China, but later arcs explore other settings. Otherwise, details are minimal.
3. Characters: The protagonist, Wei Mingyan, lacks a distinct personality, relying on impersonation. Side characters carry the narrative, reacting to his transformation from a supportive figure. They're often one-dimensional, and antagonists are consistently villainous, adding to the predictable conflict.
4. Plot: Arcs follow a similar structure - a woman faces abuse, the entity intervenes, alters the antagonist's behavior, and achieves a heartwarming ending. The protagonist's sudden wealth and success are implausible, contributing to a formulaic plot.
5. Conclusion: Despite the unique premise and easy-to-consume episodic format, the story lacks depth. Characters are shallow, with a focus on manipulative, feel-good moments. I'd rate it 3.4, suitable for light, low-effort reads. If you're looking for more substance, this might not meet your expectations. However, if you enjoy uplifting stories without complexity, it's a recommendation. For those seeking depth in characters, plot, or development, this might fall short.
It's all good now
