Ning Shu had dropped dead. But in a burst of good fortune, she became a task-taker in charge of counterattacking for the pitiful cannon fodders. Thus, Ning Shu, in one world after another, took all kinds of life roles and encountered all kinds of “you’re heartless, you’re ruthless, you’re making trouble for no reason” people. She encountered all sorts of white lotus flowers, green tea b*tches, scheming b*tches, by the batch.

“Does any true beauty still exist in the world?!” Bellowed Ning Shu angrily. “You annoying tr*sh! I’m just here to counterattack, please don’t get in the way of me completing my task.” Transmigration main character, reincarnation main character. There’s only a lazy task-taker, no indestructible main character halo. Ning Shu had no choice, but to painfully gather moral integrity in each of the worlds.

Do not be mistaken by the tags!! I would argue this novel is just as much slice of life as it is action. This isn't bad because I love the characters and their silly little city, however if you're looking for 'badass MC constantly fights stronger guys over and over' this isnt that

Reading this is incredibly frustrating. The constant depiction of rape without any consequences is highly unsatisfactory, and the main character's journey does not reach a compelling resolution. Despite making it through over 400 chapters, I just can't endure the repetitive pattern where the malicious main love interest (ML) or female lead (FL) remains unpunished and the protagonist constantly feels powerless.

I couldn't help but keep reading. The main character truly invests effort, and although some storylines are艰难曲折, it remains authentic. It's not everyone who can become über-powerful with loads of cheat systems. Perhaps she'll achieve that someday. I'm committed to seeing this through for the long run.

They claimed it was geared towards girls, but personally, I find it quite engaging, hehe. If you're as charming as me, feel free to give it a read; I won't push. The story progresses steadily, with well-developed characters, unlike those who suddenly become overly powerful. Sometimes, the main character comes across as a bit naive, which I actually enjoy, as it adds a touch of humor to their struggles. [Please don't judge my sense of humor.] And oh, regarding the rating, I wish I could rate it 3.009 stars, but alas...

I truly appreciated the earlier storyline where the main character maintained her integrity and didn't resort to typical tropes seen in transmigration stories, like being naive or overly reliant on the male lead. She didn't interfere in others' affairs unless there was a genuine issue, nor did she act overly virtuous by helping everyone regardless of their connection to her. However, in the recent arc, I feel like the MC has started to blur the lines between a well-balanced protagonist and one who crosses ethical boundaries.

In the arc where she becomes a mother-in-law, her inner thoughts seem to display a prejudiced attitude towards women, questioning their choices in fashion and personal life. She places blame on the deceased host for not being diligent, even if the husband is innocent. The way she seeks revenge in this arc feels distasteful, reducing women's worth solely to their reproductive capabilities and domestic roles. Additionally, the portrayal of the doctor in the story lacks professionalism.

Furthermore, it appears that the MC might be experiencing a sort of misplaced sense of heroism. In the Miaomiao arc, she went out of her way to assist those unrelated to her. And in the cultivation arc when she became half-demon and half-human, her actions seemed to follow a pattern of deciding what's best for others without considering the original host's intentions or her own mission. It seems she believes her martial arts should be shared universally for the benefit of half-demons, even though it wasn't part of her original plan or purpose.

This is, hands down, the most engaging Quick Transmigration Novel among its kind, despite having a relatively smaller number of chapters compared to others featuring overpowered main characters (MC) with equally powerful side characters (ML) assisting them. Those often become monotonous and predictable after a while. However, this particular novel stands out. While the early worlds might lack excitement, starting from the fifth world onwards, it captivates readers with its compelling plot and unexpected twists. The MC's journey to accomplish tasks using her limited yet steadily improving skills keeps the suspense alive, leaving readers eager to know how she'll succeed. The identity of the ML remains a well-guarded secret, adding an intriguing element as their interactions with the MC are scarce. The translations are top-notch, and the translator maintains a consistent update schedule, further enhancing the reading experience.
