The imagery in this opening is absolutely cinematic. Let me just... where do I even start? The funeral hall. Nearly empty. Just Jiang Li's manager crying and Duan Zhihan standing there in his tailored suit, looking like he'd rather be anywhere else but somehow unable to leave. The contrast between the glittering award ceremony and this cold, empty mourning hall—chef's kiss. But the fire scene. Oh my God. The fire scene is everything. 'When Duan Zhihan shifted his gaze away and looked outside, all he saw was a raging sea of flames.' That line. That is just... perfect. The way the paper offerings catch fire, the sparks falling from above, the beam wrapped in flames crashing down—and the photograph. The memorial portrait falling like a shield, turning to ash rather than letting Duan Zhihan be hurt. The visual of Duan Zhihan holding that burning photograph against his chest, stepping into the flames while saying 'I'm here. Don't be afraid'—I can see this scene in my head so clearly. It's devastating and beautiful and I need it to stop being so good. And then the transition. From that raging fire to hazy light, piercing music, Jiang Li sitting on a sofa with ice-blue hair and a white shirt, turning around with this fierce yet adorable expression. The contrast between the death and the living, the fire and the soft domestic space—it's like the universe itself is giving them a second chance. The worldbuilding here isn't about elaborate fantasy settings or complex magic systems. It's about making every real-world detail feel loaded with meaning. The hospital logs. The birthday cakes. The incense smoke. The burning photograph. Each one a piece of a story that's bigger than either character realizes.
Okay, I need to talk about this scene where Mu Anran wakes up and absolutely loses her mind because Xuan Yuan Beichen isn't in bed. Like, she falls out of bed, runs barefoot across cold stone floors, bursts into a secret meeting with the Minister of War, and somehow it all works out perfectly. The plot armor here is real but I am HERE for it. What I love is how the author uses her panic as a turning point. In her past life, she chose Prince Rong and lost everything. This time, she wakes up and her first instinct is to find the Crown Prince — not because she's calculated it, but because her body remembers what her heart needs. The line "I woke up and didn't see you. I thought you didn't want me anymore" is simultaneously pathetic and devastating. She's still processing the rebirth, still not fully confident, but she runs anyway. And then Xuan Yuan Beichen's reaction — he doesn't scold her for interrupting his meeting. He dismisses his ministers, protects her from their murderous glances, and says the line that made me literally scream: "She is my wife. Whoever dares to harm her will not only lose their life but the lives of their entire clan." MAAM. The way he wheels his chair over and pulls her into his embrace while asking about her bare feet — that's the kind of detail that makes romance feel real. The pacing here is masterful. We go from her panicked waking → the fall → the barefoot sprint → bursting into the study → the tense standoff with ministers → his protective declaration → the soft moment → the comedic relief about palace etiquette. Eight beats in two pages and none of them drag. The author knows exactly when to speed up and when to slow down. But here's my question: how long can this bubble last? Prince Rong is clearly still scheming with Mu Anfu, and we just saw that Consort Lan is already positioning herself in the palace. The Crown Prince has enemies in his own meeting. The plot is setting up this fragile happiness before the storm hits, isn't it?
The main couple’s chemistry is ?! Every interaction is so intense! The side characters actually have depth! I love how they contribute to the story!
One of the best book I have read so far the character description the way it was analyze the world system it's very fantastic one of a kind Actually every chapters was well detailed and and understandable.. but I wish the release rate could be more faster cause the writer stopped Posting at a time but came back with 6 chapters which was very fantastic to me

I am one of the earliest readers of this novel and so far I am really enjoying reading this book. Chapters are written quite well without any apparent grammatical mistakes. Since the book is new so I cant say anything about how the storyline will continue but I hope this will be one of the best books out there. Keep up the good work author. Good luck.
Before reading this book I have just one question do u plan to finish this book entirely?
What a start! Amazing writing. Well-done author.
Its intense from the beginning and with the MC losing his beloved mother like that, I can bet that something unimaginable will be happening as the story progresses. Loving the direction it is going so far.Keep up the good work and I highly recommend it.
