Okay, I need to talk about Qin Yunchuan because this guy is genuinely one of the best big brothers in fiction right now. Like, think about it — he walks into a room, sees his little sister being bullied, and instead of just being nice, he goes FULL MODE. He cuts their allowance in half, orders the butler to physically slap their mother, and drops the kidnapping revelation like it's nothing. The scene where he's calmly peeling an orange while systematically destroying Second Aunt Qin's life? Iconic. Absolute icon. But what really sold me is how he treats Mianmian. He doesn't patronize her. He doesn't talk down to her just because she's three and a half. When she says "Big Brother, I don't like them," he doesn't lecture her about being polite — he just listens. And then he makes sure she's comfortable, peeling that orange, letting her sit at the main seat. That's not just protection, that's genuine respect for her as a person. The contrast with Old Master Qin is brutal. The grandfather shows up and immediately starts talking about "rules" and "filial piety" while ignoring the fact that someone tried to KIDNAP a child. Mianmian sees right through it — she compares him to people in her beast-taming clan who tried to seize the young clan leader position. She's literally a child and she's more perceptive than half the adults in this house. And then there's Gu Xu, who's basically the chaotic uncle energy. He teases Mianmian, pinches her cheeks, plays along with her roasting Second Aunt Qin. The dynamic between these three — Gu Xu, Mianmian, and Qin Yunchuan — feels so natural. They're a unit. But here's what worries me: Gu Xu knows something about Qin Yunchuan's health that he's not telling Mianmian. And when he says "I'm a doctor, I never lie" to her face while clearly lying? That guilt he feels? Yeah, that's going to come back to bite someone. What happens when Mianmian finds out he was hiding the truth from her?
I really like this book especially how he uses his skill creation even with the limitations he still makes the best of it and I am really look forward to more chapters
Love the concept. Needs more work on the characters though. And it needs to have some sort of pacing. The City being thrown into a Gate seems a little sudden to me as I haven't even learn what the world is about. But other than that. It's good!
Subrang ganda ang intense ng mgs sceneTas talino ni concubine Zhen ???10/10
So far so good. I love the setting and magic system of this world which is simple yet good.Going to let the chapters build up before reading again.
I had to add this one to my library because of the way it captivates you into wanting to read it. It starts out so stronger and does waist time explaining what the reader should already know.
Are you using ai for this book cause it feels like it
The story has a pretty good plot. The 1st few chapters were a little rough around the edges and short but after chapter 16 or so the quality of the story suddenly jumps up. Looking forward to volume 02
The Chapters are so interesting........Its about All wolves and a single girl who survives there...................................................
It’s an intriguing story with well written characters. I highly recommend it.
The Withering Cold is a truly a novel. it indeed has W writing quality, it has immaculate story development, the character designs are unique and not generated by artificial intelligence. the world background also allows more insight into the novel. overall a must read for fiction fans and webnovel readers as a whole, as this novel is catered for all sorts of audience whilst maintaining it's essence
I'm still reeling from the action and adventure. The main character, Aaron, is trying to come to terms with the fact that his mother was killed by a mysterious group. He's consumed by anger and a desire for revenge, which affects his powers. But things take a wild turn when Aaron discovers he has a special talent that lets him explore different dimensions and communicate with the souls of past heroes. He's suddenly thrust into a world of ancient warriors and powerful entities.I loved how the book combines elements of sci-fi and fantasy to create a unique and thrilling world. The author does a great job of building tension and suspense as Aaron navigates this new reality. One of the coolest things about this book is the system of powers and abilities. The way Aaron's talents evolve and change as he gains experience is really interesting and adds a fun element to the story. The stakes are high in this book, with Aaron fighting to free his mother's soul and become a powerful ruler. The action scenes are intense and exciting, and I loved how the author balances the action with moments of emotional depth.Overall, I highly recommend
