Can we just talk about how good the dialogue is in this batch? Because I am not okay with how much I loved it. Qin Xiao's voice is absolutely distinct — he's direct, sometimes rough around the edges, but underneath all that bluster there's this raw honesty that just hits you in the chest. When he says "I've wronged you" after Qinghe defends him, it's not a grand romantic declaration. It's quiet, awkward, real. And then later when he's bragging to Zhou Ye about Qinghe being educated — "She's studied before too" — you can practically hear the proud idiot grin on his face. The way he repeats it, Zhou Ye rolling his eyes, "How many times have you already told me?" — this is dialogue that makes you laugh out loud. But the dialogue that absolutely wrecked me was Qinghe's. So restrained, so careful. "I was a criminal slave to begin with. People can say whatever they like. Their words won't make me lose a piece of flesh." She's been hurt so many times that she's built these walls, and every word she speaks is measured, testing the ground before she steps on it. And then the moment she almost says "Marry me" — the question that rises to her throat and gets swallowed back down — that silence between the lines is louder than any dialogue could be. And Madam Qin's voice! Even though she's not physically present in most of these scenes, you can hear her in every word. "It's all because that criminal slave has been poisoning his mind." The manipulation is so casual, so practiced. And Qin Yue's performance for her — pacing back and forth, voice trembling with acted grievance — is dialogue as theater, and it's chilling how well he plays the victim. The author gives every character a voice so distinct that you could tell who's speaking just from a single line. That's rare. That's excellent.
it's a lovely story as you have a great sense of creative story can't wait to see the story develop
im not gonna read a book without knowing what the book is about can someone tell me
Really great work so far, and I'm writing this at about 7 chapters, hoping to see more of this, although it starts of typical and cliche, I'm hoping to see more from this.
this made excited and giggle and shi, cant wait for the future chapters
Can't say much about the story yet (only 5 Ch. out, ultra fresh) However, it piqued my interest, definitely has an interest/fresh-out take on the game/sys. genre, feeling like partially survival games, making me thought of 'the forest' a bit.And ultimately, I have FUN reading it!
This novel is one of the best in beast taming novels, I advise you to read it ??
This is my first novel so I'm going to be a little gentle with myself but if I had to be objective there are a lot of gaps and some terms that come up in this one, of course that won't stop me from writing and providing you with better quality work!
interesting. I am fooling forward to new chapters.
Genuinely a good novel ( and it's only the beginning ) Although the Author considers his own work at an amateur level, I remarked some very interesting passages and the whole story is really descriptive and intriguing which puts him above that level in my oppinion.Definitely worth a shot, especially since it promises to be a very long novel which will only improve with time.
A very good story with a good plot but just a bit slow paced
I'm actually going to give my book, a shameless review. Because I know I tried,I pride myself in diligence in meticulous world crafting. First this is no Harem novel, except for those whose religion curtails having numerous partners. Just basically a slow romance.Second, I plan to write long, at the beginning I may start with few chapters a week, before I gradually compass and grow as a writer. Thereby writing numerous a week, I am thinking of stopping at 2000.Lastly do note that, I may make mistakes in the writing or history of a pantheon, I'm not an all rounder and this definitely part of the writing process. Thanks have a fun read.
