I read the novel before it got completely revamped. Chapters got rewritten, and it definitely improved the overall writing quality of the book. Although he doesn't have an extensive vocabulary, the story is still good and I do like it. The releases weren't constant, but they were there. I love how the novel is going right now so my review is a bit biased, but I have hopes for the novel as It grows and exceeds 100 chapters.
I love the way the story developed the character design, it flows naturally and it's addictive if you are a fan of fantasy novels
Overall nice story. But the MC is too weak despite all the advantage she has
145 Chapters 290.4K Views yet 5 reviews... Definitely legit
What you need to know before reading: - The protagonist is not super OP, reincarnated with SSS+ talent, he doesn't have a super strong system, he doesn't find a divine artifact that improves his body, he won't be the strongest in the kingdom in chapter 100... The protagonist reincarnates in a body with low talent for magic but, with his superior knowledge of the past life, he will surpass all others. - Because of the above, the pace of the story is a little slow, and that's fine with me. The protagonist's strength building is more realistic. He will also learn new things, after all he now has the theory and practice of magic. - The protagonist's personality is a bit arrogant... ...ok, fine! he is arrogant. But as the chapters go by, this characteristic diminishes and stays at a good level. After all, he reached the top of magical theories in his past life without having magic! So it's normal for him to be a little arrogant, isn't it? - From what I read, I believe that the protagonist is not a good guy and not a bad guy. I think he is aligned with the "neutral". If he has to kill, he will kill, but he's not a psychopath. - At the beginning of the work, the author is a little lacking in the physical descriptions of the characters, making it difficult and even impossible to visualize them mentally. His mother's mental image is a woman with big balloons where she suffocates the mc. Later the author improves in this area, so rest assured. - The protagonist will not be a lone wolf. He will have allies. Stay calm! They will not be burdens. - The writing is good. It is still necessary to know more things about the world... Cultures, regions, religions if they exist... I don't know if there are other races like elves, dwarves, etc, but it's at the beginning of the work so that's for later.- There are some "Slice of Life" parts in the story that are nice and funny. They help you relax a little and not overwhelm readers with information at all times. hmmm I think that's it for now. This review was based up to chapter 150. Keep up the good work, author. ^^
Dont bother reading it, a really good novel ruined by TL. TL terms keep going back and forth early on but then stabilise around 400 chapters in but for some reason TL changes at chapter 777 and since then everything is utter trash.
The glossary terms are changed to more retarded equivalent and you struggle to even know whats going on. Had to drop at chapter 777 as its just not worth the brain damage you get from trying to read this god awful TL
I believe everything happened for a reason in this world. The Almighty God sets our destiny in this world perfectly and no such accidents in life. But after reading your novel, I really want "this accident" happens in my life! I want my own "Jeffrey". LoL!! Thanks, Author.... Keep writing... 5 stars from me.
Alright, let's do this according to the rubric Qidian assigns:Translation Quality/Stability of Updates: Neither can be properly verified given it's in Trial Read, so I just put that at 3 - the average.Story Development: It's basically about the same as one of this author's earlier novels, The Strongest System, so it gets no points from me on that - copy/pasting isn't exactly hard. Even disregarding that, however ... it seems like it doesn't quite know what to do with itself. Main character wants to escape? Wait, let's not. Even with what it *does* do, it's not like the story development so far is refreshing or interesting - it's formulaic, something you can find in basically any Xianxia of note.Character Design: It's Lin Fang. Across all the author's works, he's basically the same, and a quintessential non-character all the time. This isn't a character prone to depth or anything, he's just a tool for comedic hijinks and random 'moments of awesome' that have so far been something of a nothingburger considering the very premise of this story (along with some forced emotional moments that just made me roll my eyes, again because of the story premise - I guess they were played for humor, because of it? Didn't really appeal). The other characters aren't any better - they fulfill the stereotypes of the MC's buddies, his enemies are made out to be the scum of the earth, everything the MC does is to showcase his power and intelligence - you know the drill.World Background: Basically non-existent so far. It's a Xianxia world with sects, following the Xianxia tropes. Not exactly deep, yo.Mind, this is basically a cookie-cutter 'shameless protagonist Xianxia', so if that's what you like, then this is for you. It just does nothing interesting with it, or even explores the characters, situations or environment - what you go in this expecting, you get, so in that sense this might even be considered sensible of the author - churn out populist stuff that pleases the niche Xianxia audience, and hey, you get oodles of cash with little need for thinking deeply. Works like a charm.

The MC can't decide. Does he want to be indifferent and mind his own business, or does he do want to involve himself in situations were he might die. The story feels so damn forced. The Mc doesn't seem to consider the consequences of his actions and lies. The conflicts are especially forced in this one since the MC seems to try his very best to avoid trouble. Don't worry though, the author can use something as convient as 'karma' to explain away all these plot holes. But this is a gag novel so I really don't know what I expected.
You want nationalism, you got it.You want fine translation quality to be the best part of a novel, you got it.You want a decent premise to fall flat almost immediately, you got it.This novel has everything!!
I can't describe how much I love this. The story doesn't have a great summary and you may get confused at first but the world and the characters grip you. The translation needs work but you ignore it for a chance to be a part of this world.
