There's a moment in Chapter 10 that I've been replaying in my head like it's the most important scene in the book. He Jiayu is watching Xu Zhiyuan look at her phone — probably checking the song charts — and the text says he "could almost see her expression through it — she was probably beaming with pride and a hint of smugness right now." He is watching her. He is thinking about her. He is imagining her face. And she has no idea. This is the central relationship dynamic of these chapters, and it's devastating in the best way. Xu Zhiyuan keeps telling herself she's just being friendly, that they're nominal spouses, that if he falls for the female lead she'll just divorce him. She's building walls everywhere, but He Jiayu is just... there. Leaning over her. Taking her hand. Remembering she's never had red wine before and gently putting food in her bowl instead of commenting on how she chugged it. The original male lead is absent — literally nowhere to be found — and in his place is a man who is slowly, carefully, genuinely falling for his wife while she's still convinced she's just playing defense. The tragedy and the sweetness of this is almost unbearable. Every time he does something tender, she rationalizes it away. Every time he gets closer, she tells herself it's nothing. And yet. The way he looks at her. The way he remembers small things. The way he arranged that dinner without even realizing he was trying to impress her. This man is already gone, and she doesn't even know the war has started.
This is great really liked reading it . Try reading one the best I recommend it for the characters and the script . Its been a while since I read something interesting
author can you please make more continuous novels not like those last two novels which had so many realms it was hard to remember and the value of each realm was diminished I hope this one isn't like those

I really like this novel.I love how OP he is and hope it stays like that.
good novel. keep it up. I especially like the character of mc and the surrounding theme
Penelope is a relatable and endearing heroine, whose growth and development throughout the story are both authentic and inspiring. Her struggles to come to terms with her family's legacy and her own destiny are deeply human, and I found myself rooting for her from the outset.
Just caught up to the latest chapter. I have to say, so far, this is a wonderful piece of work, the MC isn't just some other overpowered guy, he caries dept and let's us feel for him. The author does a good job shying away from the usual boring tropes. And he does a great job with the 1st person narration. This is a good read, no doubt.
try to update the story to get more readers later
I love the way the author writes! I am not into fantasy but I am loving this book. I might just start reading more fantasy books now because of this one. Lol. The author is doing a good job at creating vivid images in my imagination. Can't wait to see the day Sierra finally stands up against the king. He pisses me off so muchhh.
Damn, it's one of the most beautiful things I've ever read in my life, despite my long career in the field of psychological horror, from games to novels to series. Your novel was one of the best experiences, and you also didn't neglect the rest of the aspects of Rose and Gabriel's relationship. It was nice and very ideal??????
I am so thankful I found this novel. The family interactions make me smile every time. I am looking forward to future chapters!
