I don't quite know how to describe it.
I only got to [Chapter 91.2] when writing this, but I am most likely going to drop this.
It's essentially a somewhat generic novel, but unlike the really generic ones, this one has some emotional development.
The story is decent, but how it's written is horrible.
The very first few chapters were absolutely horrific to get through thanks to the VERY LITERAL translation, almost no nuance or interpretation to speak of.
And the improper spacing of sentences, it felt like a 256-page essay with spaces at regular intervals, only because it was required.
Later on it gets better... the translation does, the story doesn't change much.
Only when you've got absolutely nothing else you want to read in your library, would I recommend this.

I compel you guys, that if you are coming onto this just after reading a literature master piece like Reverend Insanity, Ergen, Tales of Herding gods, etc. expecting to be immersed in proper Xianxia, then turn back.
If you want to properly enjoy this, expect a (nonconsensual) sexcapade of an evil hero, with insane powers and plot armor the heavier than neutron stars. Expect him trying to hide his powers one chapter then giving out knowledges only Immortal Emperors knowledge the next chapter. Expect him to trip on Immortal Emperors inheritances. Expect him to kill every enemy mercilessly, except if they are a woman.
Fool yourself that you love these tropes and have a great 5 star experience
This novel had the right stuff to be great but fell short in the end. A lot of the plot ends up being forced and repetitive. Premise of being a war god but the story never really leaves battle academies. Finally the ending was horribly rushed. It's an okay read 5/10. As always this is just my own personal opinion so take it with a grain of salt. Happy reading everyone.
