I have to give credit where it's due—the dialogue in this book is genuinely good. Each character has a distinct voice and you can tell who's speaking without needing tags. Tan Song is the goofy one, always trying to play it cool, saying things like 'I was just admiring your face—it's so handsome I couldn't look away.' That's pure Tan Song energy. Lu Wenjie is the voice of reason, the one reminding everyone to keep it down. Du Xiaofeng is observant, the one who pieces things together. And Shen Xiuyu—his dialogue is short, sharp, and laced with this casual arrogance that's basically his brand. 'I won't move. What are you going to do about it?' Perfect. But the best part is how Ruan Tiantian's voice comes through even when she's being quiet and timid. Her 'Pervert!' whispered under her breath, her calm 'I want you to apologize to my friends' in the cafeteria—these small moments reveal so much about her personality. The narrative voice itself is also really engaging, with this slightly wry, observant tone that matches the romantic comedy vibe without being overly dramatic.
Okay so this chapter is wild. Bai Xiaotong goes into that warehouse with a drug, planning to trap Chen Xiangjun, and ends up with Lu Ling instead. But here's the thing that actually made me sit up straight — she's not just some dumb girl who got played. She has a precognitive dream. She KNOWS what's supposed to happen. She knows Cao Xiaoli will knock on the door, she knows she'll be coaxed into opening it. She's actively fighting against her own fate, hiding in the corner and mentally cursing everyone involved. The plot structure here is doing something really smart. It's not just a simple revenge/rebirth story. The author is playing with dramatic irony — we know what Bai Xiaotong remembers from her past life, but the other characters don't. When Hu Xiulan is putting on her sweet "we're here to save you" performance at the door, she's actually reenacting a scene from Bai Xiaotong's nightmare. That's genuinely chilling. And the way the author handles the aftermath — Bai Xiaotong fleeing, second-guessing her route, choosing the front gate over the back because she's actually thinking ahead now instead of blindly following her old patterns — this is a character who is actively rewriting her script. The plot isn't just happening TO her anymore. She's making choices. And the fact that she ends up pregnant with Lu Ling's child and feels this strange pull to keep it? That's the kind of twist that makes you want to immediately flip to the next chapter.

This novel focuses on the mc well in every moment,Pacing is a bit fast but it shows good character development of the mc like how he turns from powerless to having some power and mc choosing a choice either revenge or saving ruby was a good turning point well written in the story,hope to see what choices he will choose and how it turns out later on.Good work Author!
overall the atory is good and everything is fleshed out.... words of improvement would honestly be like more chapters as this story is kinda just beginning. Rn i dont have any qualms about the mc just dont turn him into a psycho killer plz as that would easily ruin him.

本人喜欢有女主，看了简介来看的这本书，作者前两本还没看。说实话，感觉有些小细节还是有瑕疵，而且在小说前期，好多血门的安中的规则都是到了那才说明，有点加设定的成分。但是不可否定的是确实是一本很很很很不错的小说。前面的几门还好.到了最后这个抬头的人，我只能说真的太爽了，太精彩了，反转再反转，还有关于硬币，秋水和良叔太tm的帅了。不多说了，就凭抬头的人这个，五星奉上。不过作者是不是多更点，高潮部分卡住了太难受了TT面
