The atmosphere in these chapters is so deliberately crafted it's almost cinematic. Let me start with the very first image we get of Yan Zhao in the dorm: "Yan Zhao sat obediently on the chair, the damp ends of her hair dripping tiny beads of water onto her shoulders. The dim yellow light fell on her profile, making her appear soft and quiet." Dim yellow light. Damp hair. Shoulders. That's it. Three details and I can SEE her. She looks fragile but contained, like something wrapped in cloth. Then the washroom scene — completely different energy. Rows of faucets, the sound of running water, students brushing teeth, the hallway full of people. Yan Zhao feels every gaze. "Curious, inquisitive, scrutinizing. Some lingered for a moment, others were completely unabashed." And Gu Yu's response is so quiet but so significant: he shifts half a step in front of her. Blocks most of the gazes. Doesn't say a word about it. The contrast between the private dorm (intimate, dim, charged) and the public washroom (loud, bright, exposing) mirrors their whole situation. In private, they're husband and wife sharing a bed. In public, she's invisible unless someone looks too long. The author never explains this theme outright — it just lives in the spaces between scenes.
On the surface, this is a transmigration story about a beast spirit helping a family rescue a kidnapped mother. But I think the author is exploring something deeper about identity, belonging, and what it means to protect something you care about. The Pixiu itself is a fascinating choice of protagonist. In Chinese mythology, Pixiu are creatures that devour wealth and have no anus—they take in but never give out. But here, Bai Li is dealing with a very different kind of transaction: 'taking something from others requires paying a price.' She used the little cub's body, so she owes a debt. This moral framework—action and consequence, taking and repaying—is woven into the story's DNA. The Sin Lines are another symbolic element that stands out. Yu Qingqiu has a gray Sin Line on her body, which the narrative presents as visible proof of her moral corruption. This is interesting because it externalizes guilt and wrongdoing in a way that's almost biblical. The story seems to be suggesting that some people's actions leave marks that can't be hidden. Then there's the setting—1970s China, a time of strict social hierarchy and military discipline. Bai Dingting is a regiment commander, a man of order and authority, yet he's completely powerless when it comes to his family. The story seems to be asking: what happens when the systems we trust fail us? When the law can't protect your loved ones, what do you do? Bai Li's answer is to use her own unique abilities, to operate outside normal channels. That's a theme I think will develop further as the story progresses.
its quite good one .. lets see how it progresses
The story is full of mysteries. I can't wait to find out what happens next, which keeps me excited to follow the story. Nice job!
Even a tiny spark of fire can turn into a majestic flame when given the time and here I see a spark worthy of turning into a flame that can engulf the world. improve your grammar lulululululululu

Hi there, amazing author! I just finished reading your book, and I must say, it’s fantastic! I wanted to reach out and share a few tips that could help boost the performance and visibility of your book even further
Potential! I must say, it is exciting diving into the world. While it's not without flaws, the potential of the plot and promise on display are certainly good.Writing - Needs improvement. A lot. But it's readable, understable and sufficient. Still, if the author can improve the writing by a level or two, it will be amazing. Tip- Focus on some realistic reactions from characters, situations and such. Plot- Since there isn't much of plot given till now, I have considered it's potential. If The author plays it right, the plot can become a great piece among 'system' contents.Character - Dialogues! they make or break the characters and it is good to see, character have plenty interaction. Well done there. Just needs some refinement.World Building- Although not unique in its genre with systems, ranks, monsters, etc. I could understand the world quite a lot from the first 15 chapters. So, I would say it was done great. Well, there is more to explore in future, so I belive again in it's potential.Overall, it is a good story. Needs editing and refinements, but still enjoyable.
I read it up to chapter 15. In my opinion, this book has the potential to be an engrossing novel if the author learns from his mistakes when he is writing this book. You can't say much about the whole book when it has only this many chapters but the characters are fine, they don't have much depth and they are a little cliché but you can read without feeling anger about them every chapter. Mc is not stupid and we see that he thinks before taking action, so he has some common sense in his head and you may like him (some even may say that he is smart) and for sure he is not a person who thinks only by his lower body parts, there are problems with him like author make him extremely cold in some situation but sometimes he behaves like petty and very emotional but nothing that can't be changed for the better later in the story. Worldbuilding is great and very interesting, but you just need to lower your expectations a bit to enjoy it if you have high standards. Updates are chaotic sometimes you have so many chapters that you think is Christmas and other days there are none for 2 days. The author responds to comments so he is engaged in this novel and for now, it seems like he cares a lot about the book and tries to learn to make it better, for me, that is a huge plus. In my opinion, if made well this can be more than mediocre but if the author doesn't learn from his mistakes or stop trying to improve this can be worse than mediocre. It's worth trying if you like Villain MC and have some time to spear and help this author shine by leaving your opinion in the comments. I wish you a marvelous day, friends from around the globe.
This story really drew me in. The world building, and the ancient powers and a changing landscape, feel alive and rich with possibility. Argolaith, the protagonist, is a quiet and determined character, and I found myself rooting for him as he discovers his true potential. The mix of introspection and adventure kept me hooked, and I loved the mythical elements woven throughout the story. It’s a captivating read, especially for anyone who enjoys fantasy and coming-of-age tales.
