Okay so I need to talk about Bai Yuwei because this guy is genuinely one of the sweetest characters I've encountered in a while and I wasn't expecting that at all. Here's this massive tiger beastman who can literally drag large wild beasts around, and what does he do when he comes back from hunting? He watches Shen Qi cook and just... beams. Like a golden retriever. And then he says 'Qiqi, you're too good to me!' after eating two skewers of roasted meat. TWO SKEWERS. The fact that this is the first time a Female has ever made food for him hits different. It's not just about the food, it's about being seen and cared for. And then there's the hug scene. She says 'let go' and he immediately lets go, but not before burying his face in her neck and breathing in her scent. It's borderline inappropriate but also kind of pure in its own way? He's not trying to be creepy, he's just genuinely affectionate and doesn't know how to process it. Plus his line 'Even Qiqi's fierce look is so pretty!' after she tells him to stop staring? I'm dead. The man has no chill and I love it for him. Their dynamic is so interesting because on the surface it seems like he's the protector and she's the protected, but honestly Shen Qi is the one doing all the heavy lifting here. She's the one hunting rabbits, making fire, teaching the whole tribe how to cook. And yet he still insists on dragging beasts back and telling her he'll protect her. It's sweet in a delusional kind of way. Like bro, you're the one with four beast patterns on your arm and she's basically a normal human female at this point, but the intention is there and that matters. What really sold me though was when he gets excited about the barbecue seasoning and immediately starts trying to roast more meat himself. He's not just passively receiving her care, he's actively trying to participate and learn from her. That's the kind of relationship dynamic that makes you root for them.
I need to talk about Xie Junyi because this man is a whole problem and I am here for it. The scene where he feeds Chi Anyu those dumplings—blowing on them himself, making sure they're not too hot—this is the kind of intimate, domestic gesture that does something dangerous to the reader. It makes you root for the villain. And that's exactly what the author wants, isn't it? But here's what gets me: Chi Anyu notices it too. He literally thinks 'something was off about this whole dumpling-eating experience.' He can feel that Xie Junyi has crossed some invisible line, that the dynamic has shifted from master-servant to something else entirely. And Xie Junyi's response when Chi Anyu calls him out on eating from the same spoon? 'We've already kissed, so eating after you is nothing.' He says it so casually, like it's obvious, like their relationship has already reached a level of intimacy that Chi Anyu is only just beginning to feel. Then there's the nighttime scene. Oh god, the nighttime scene. Xie Junyi waiting until Chi Anyu falls asleep, leaning over him, kissing his eyelids, whispering 'you actually like me too, don't you?' This is obsession dressed up as devotion. But the most chilling part? Chi Anyu responds in his sleep. A soft sound, a groan, a thigh cramp. Xie Junyi interprets this as confirmation. He walks away convinced that 'Yubao still cares about me.' Meanwhile Butler Ling just watches and thinks 'I don't understand his behavior, but I respect it.' The supporting characters are basically screaming at us to see what's happening and nobody's listening. And Qi You—sweet, dramatic Qi You showing up in a dress, sweating in the sun, desperate to talk—feels like the only real person in this whole twisted household.
Story is well written, and has quite a bit of future potential. Just remember this though, if you yourself, enjoy writing your stories, then that is the one thing that should matter the most more then anything else. Sometimes, it is not about any sort of money or payment, but should in fact, always be about enjoying sharing your work with your viewers and fans. And that, should always take priority, because if your fans and viewers enjoy reading your work, as well as potential future generations, then that is the one thing, that should matter more to you then anything else. For you see, people are more concerned in living in the here and now. While people me, we like to have a more, long game in mind. Now, don't take this as some sort of negative by any means, I am just saying, that if we want future generations to enjoy this world, then we have to be willing to protect what we love, in an effort to do our best to better our future.
The characters are captivating and engaging, an interesting plot, it all adds up to the great plot, the budding writer looks quite promising.

So far, the story is fascinating. I thought the beginning would be typical, like the first chapter of all those manhwas with the usual clichés, but actually, no—the author plays well with them. I'm reading slowly but surely, and I hope this story has a good ending. But with the MC’s alignment, I'm starting to get worried.

Thank you for saving the Book... GOS.As this is a mix of Fantasy, Mystery, academy and a good amount of action. GOS will explore Dark and light sides of humanity and various mutations. It is definitely not a fast paced book where we begin and have the mc crossing level 100 in a few chapters but rather a slow tempo to explore deeply into characters and world building.what I'm explaining here isn't much of the story just leaving a review to keep us all interested.
