Aku bangun dan beranjak dari tempat tidurku dengan niat bersiap siap untu berangkat untuk kuliah.Aku pun turun dari lantai dua kamarku. Dan ayahku sudah menunggu aku dan kakak ku di bawah, di meja makan. Ayah ku menatap aku dan kakaku dengan maksud agar kami duduk makan bersama nya. Aku pun ikut sarapan dengannya karena aku lapar dan belum memakan apa apa sejak malam. Di tengah sarapan, ayah memulai pembicaraannya dan berkata "ayah minggu depan akan bertunangan dengan perempuan itu." Rasanya makanan yang barusan aku telan ingin naik lagi dan keluar dari tenggorokan ku. Dan aku menatap ayah dengan marah. Lalu ayah menyambung perkataan nya "ayah hanya memberi tahu, bukan bermaksud meminta izin, ayah harap kalian berdua bisa hadir di hari bahagia itu.". dan aku pun menjawab dengan seribu pertanyaan yang ingin aku lontarkan pada ayah sejak malam.
