Okay, I need to talk about Su Yingtang because this woman is absolutely fascinating and I don't know whether to love her or fear her. She's Eighteenth Lady's rival but also her mentor, and the dynamic between them is so much richer than a simple 'mean senior ghost' trope. When Eighteenth Lady crawls into her room and drops to her knees begging for help, Su Yingtang's first response is 'I don't collect trash.' Brutal. And yet—she still teaches her. She still gives her the four-word method. She still has a plan for her. The deal they make is hilarious: Eighteenth Lady agrees to scold Helan Wang so Su Yingtang can hear it, and in exchange she gets tuition. This is a ghost who would literally trade verbal abuse of a stray dog for magical instruction. It's petty and wonderful. But what really got me is the power dynamic. Eighteenth Lady has lived on the first floor for EIGHTEEN YEARS. Eighteen years of plain porridge and salted vegetables while Su Yingtang lives in luxury on the third floor with all the offerings. And yet Eighteenth Lady still goes to her for help. There's resentment there—I can feel it—but there's also this weird loyalty. She's the bottom of the food chain and she still bows to the top. That says something about her character, doesn't it? She's proud enough to try again and again, even after two failures. That's not stupidity. That's stubbornness. And honestly? I respect it.
Let me just say this: the pacing in these chapters is absolutely vicious and I cannot stop thinking about it. The author starts with Old Lady Jiang's slap—BAM, right in the face—and then just keeps stacking pressure on Liu Xuewei until there's literally nowhere left to go. First the physical violence, then the public humiliation, then Jiang Weijie's whispered promise about the quota, and finally her resigned acceptance. Each beat comes faster than the last, like the author is tightening a noose. And the crowd's reaction? Perfectly timed. They're not just background noise—they're the hammer that drives her into submission. The transition from the explosive confrontation to the quiet aftermath with Yunying and Lin Kexin is also masterful. It's like exhaling after holding your breath for ten pages. Lin Kexin's calm analysis of what really happened gives you this cold clarity after all the chaos. Then the next chapter opens with Jiang Weijie already setting the wedding date. No pause, no mercy. The story doesn't let you catch your breath and honestly? That's what makes it so addictive. You want to keep reading because you need to know what happens next, even though you already know Liu Xuewei is trapped. The author knows it too. That's why the pacing feels like a chase scene that never ends.
Only read the first two chapters (for now), and it already has a good start. The strongest thing about this story is the plot that makes you want to continue reading to learn more about what’s going on. I wonder why Adam hasn’t asked too many questions about his origins, I’m dying to know where he came from and how exactly he was made. Will other biohumans pop up? I guess I have to keep reading to find out.Keep up the good work!
I enjoyed your story writing. I started reading and ended up reading until the last chapter! I'm waiting for the next chapters. I like the MC's timely sense of humor and the weird system calling weak chicken! Good job, by the way!
It's alright... Depends on the topics you like...Overall the story is fine, but then again, I can be picky. Story for me confused, but I read on.
a great story this novel has some potential
I'm invested now, so, please update soon! ????????
Just standing here and waiting for when you win WSA 2025 with this fine piece. Good luck, good sir!!
Myalis is an incredible high fantasy epic! The way you blend political intrigue, deep world-building, and intense action is truly captivating. Caelum’s journey to restore his fallen kingdom’s honor is both thrilling and emotionally complex, especially with the deadly tournament and shifting alliances. The relationships between the six divided nations are so well-crafted, and every twist kept me on the edge of my seat.As a reader, I was hooked from start to finish. Your ability to weave suspense and moral complexity into every character’s story is fantastic. Fans of intricate politics and high-stakes adventure will definitely love this. Can't wait to see what comes next!
This novel has certainly piqued my interest! The main character is intriguing, and the author does a great job of setting up the story and the world around them. The pacing feels well-balanced, giving us just enough to keep us hooked without overwhelming us with details. I’m excited to see where the story goes next and how the plot develops.
The story is so nice! Looking forward to it :)
Kieran definitely has issues with his sexuality in a pack that rejects homosexuality. This is a good twist on the “reason for rejecting a fated mate” trope.
