SHADOW185
There are three objects in this text that I keep thinking about, and they're not accidental. I'm pretty sure the author placed them there on purpose. First: the scarf. Wen Chu buries her face in it the entire walk from the car to the restaurant. It's her armor against the world—her social anxiety made physical. She can't hide her face, so she hides behind fabric. And then Xi Liye wraps his arm along the back of her chair at the restaurant, creating what the text calls "an invisible barrier." He becomes the scarf. He becomes the shield. That's not subtle, but it's beautiful. Second: the black velvet dress. Her roommate calls it a "Garden Maiden" style—elegant, princely, eye-catching. But Wen Chu is someone who wants to shrink into herself. Why would someone so hypersensitive to strangers' gazes want to wear something that draws every eye? The answer is right there in her dialogue: "If I weren't out with you, I wouldn't wear this." She's performing confidence for him, even though performing is the exact thing that terrifies her. The dress is both her armor and her vulnerability—she's dressed like a princess but feels like an imposter. Third: the glass partitions at the restaurant. The text specifically mentions them. She's visible to the world but separated from it. That's literally her entire existence in this story. She's always on display (as the transmigrator who knows the plot, as the girl playing a role, as the person everyone is commenting on) but never truly connected. The deeper theme here is about performance versus authenticity. Wen Chu is constantly performing—online, in person, even to herself. And Xi Liye? He sees through every performance. Not because he's smart, but because he's honest. That's what makes him dangerous to her, and also what makes her fall for him.
Okay so let me just say—this arc is absolutely delicious. The whole breakfast-giving setup is such a simple premise but the author runs with it in a way that actually builds real narrative momentum. Day one: she brings the sandwich, he throws it in the trash, the entire class loses their minds. Classic setup. But then the twist—the part where Chen Che reveals Lu Zhiye secretly picked it back up? That's the moment everything shifted for me. It completely reframes his character from 'cold school bully' to 'confused boy who doesn't know how to process kindness.' And then Sun Qing comes in and swaps the lunchboxes—that's the external conflict that forces Lu Zhiye's hand. He literally storms into another classroom to defend her breakfast. The author uses this moment to show his loyalty without him having to say a single word about his feelings. 'Don't touch my things.' Not 'don't touch her things.' His. That single word does so much heavy lifting. The rooftop scene is the emotional climax of this arc though. He tries to push her away with the whole 'stay away from me, you'll ruin your future' speech, and she sees right through it: 'When you say those words, you don't dare look into my eyes.' That line is everything. It's the moment the plot stops being about whether they'll get together and becomes about whether he'll let himself believe he's worthy of being loved.
This novel is reallyGood even its slow I can tell it’s a build up this also my 5th web novel and I’m glad I got to read this on my journey

Hello, dear readers! This is my first book on WebNovel—it's a pleasure to meet you all. Please keep an eye on my book! Feel free to ask any questions about it here, and I’ll answer as long as they don’t contain spoilers. ?
A warning: my book has already been unofficially plagiarized on several illegal sites—a genuine plea to all readers who like the book. You may find this book somewhere else for free, but remember, your powerstone or even a comment keeps this book alive. I don’t have a problem with you reading it elsewhere, but remember, you are similarly responsible for a book's fate. It’s disheartening to see my other book getting 5-star ratings on an unknown site instead of here, where I can see them. I get frustrated when I post a book here and no one complements it on this platform but instead on those sites. Imagine dropping a book and seeing a dozen reviews written, 'What a masterpiece book! Shame on the author who dropped it.'This is an official channel for me to interact with you. I don’t mind if others read it elsewhere since not everyone has money, but if you leave a powerstone or even just a single comment, it means a lot to authors.About this book, don’t worry, genuine readers; it is performing well enough, and I am completely determined to make it cross 500 chapters somehow before the end of 6 months at the minimum to clear my name as serial book dropper.I just wrote this review to let readers know: read anywhere—I used to do the same, but just a single powerstone, that’s all it takes.
Dear Author, I'm a big admirer of your writing! After reading your book, I was blown away by your talent. I have some ideas on how to take your book to the next level and expand its readership. Would you be willing to listen to my feedback and suggestions?
I like the characters and the story, I like how the Author arranged everything.
One of the best novels I have read so far although it's still in the starting phase with only 30+ chaps this awesome novel deserves a review ---Writing Quality (10/10)The writing quality in this novel is exceptional, as expected from SleepDeprivedSloth. The novel is immersive, and free from unnecessary info dumps(only present when needed) making the reading experience smooth and enjoyable. The author demonstrates the skill of a veteran writer from already writing some of the best popular novels. The pacing is natural, and it has me completely hooked not gonna lie. ---World-Building (9/10)Although still in its early stages, the world-building shows immense potential for depth and creativity. The novel introduces a world filled with beasts and there tamers with some mention of God's too, with much more to unravel cause the MC himself doesn't know much of the world in the current chaps.---Power System (10/10)The power system in Dragon Genesis is one of the novel's main points for me. Kael, the protagonist, possesses a broken talent to transform beasts or beasteggs with even a trace of dragon bloodline into full-fledged dragons/dragoneggs. And the MC grows stronger as his loyal companions grows stronger(although there's currently only one). Of course some might have questions like will the MC only fight from the sidelines relying on his beasts and not doing anything himself I will just tell them no he will fight with them side by side. ---Character Development (9/10)Kael is a well-crafted protagonist who feels real and behaves with logic so if someone only reads novels for wish fulfilment that doesn't follow a little bit of logic this definitely not for them because there will be ups and downs, highs and lows that the MC will go through. He's also not a braid dead MC who doesn't use his brain at all which are abundant in many current novels. Although he still needs some character development but i have full trust in Sloth to pull it off beautifully. ---Update Stability (10/10) The author has great updating schedule with sometimes even releasing 4-5 chaps a day hope he makes it 10 chaps a day lol.. Jokes aside he has great updating schedule and doesn't miss out a day cause he has stocks of this chaps for emergency situations. ---Overall Impression (9.5/10)So to sum it up this novel is a complete gem of a novel with great potential. This is definitely a must-read for fans of reincarnation, fantasy, sword&magic and dragon-centric stories. So give it a chance guys I am certain you definitely like it.. ---
