Is it really? I'm not sure about the others since I don't read shounen ai novels much but this novel is pretty good. It's exactly my cup of tea (except I'm a huge fan of smut and would have been happy if this novel have it but I'm not that thirsty.) You should just try it and see if you're okay with this. Each to their own after all so u can't just fully rely at others' review.

I like this story quite a bit, but do beware that there will be racial insults (mostly between chinese and japanese dudes) and a few "China is the greatest" moments sprinkled in every now and then. But otherwise i really enjoy reading this story.

wait, how is the ending bad? i need to know if it is still worth reading or not. I hate bad endings with a passion.
