I need to talk about Qin Yanchuan because this man is a walking contradiction and I am obsessed. On one hand, he's the cold, ruthless CEO who makes his own uncle sweat in his own boardroom. On the other hand, he's the guy who kept picking up his little cousin from school every single day for years, even after he went to university, just because their dad asked him to. The text says: 'the most dutiful older brother one could ask for.' But we all know he was never just a brother. And here's the thing that absolutely destroyed me—he went to England last year. To THE place where she lived for four years. And he never told her. Not once. He had a pharmaceutical acquisition project, sure, but come on. There are planes. There are messages. There are a thousand ways to say 'hey, I'm in your city' and he chose absolutely none of them. Meanwhile, Yun Sheng is sitting there thinking they're back to being 'just siblings' after four years, completely unaware that he was close enough to breathe the same air as her at some point and walked away anyway. The power dynamic between them has always been weird—she's the 'adopted daughter' he's supposed to protect, but he's also the one holding all the cards. And now this coin proves that the cards were always messier than either of them let on. His comment about her not bringing him a gift when she returned? That's not petty. That's hurt. He's testing her. He wants to know if she thought about him at all.
I keep coming back to the Ministry of Works and what it represents. In this world, the Ministry of Personnel and Ministry of Revenue are the prestigious ones—the ones with power, influence, visibility. And she CHOSE Works. The ministry that deals with construction, infrastructure, the unglamorous backbone of the empire. Isn't that exactly what someone who needs to stay hidden would pick? She's not seeking the spotlight. She's choosing a role that keeps her useful but overlooked. And Lu Jing, who grew up protecting her, who's been looking out for her since childhood, he values the wrong ministries. He thinks she should have gone for power and recognition, not realizing that her choice IS her protection. The author is weaving this theme of visibility versus invisibility throughout the chapter, and it's not subtle but it's also not heavy-handed. Gu Ningxi knows the structure 'as effortlessly as listing items from her own home'—she understands this world intimately, which makes her choice even more deliberate. She's not lost. She's exactly where she decided to be.
I keep coming back to one thing in these chapters: altitude. It's not just a physical condition. It's the central metaphor of the entire journey. Altitude sickness. Oxygen systems failing. The brutal ascent up Dongshan Hill. The thin air that makes every breath a negotiation. These aren't just plot obstacles—they're the physical manifestation of what both characters are going through internally. Lin Mo is literally and figuratively struggling to breathe. She left the city because something in her life was suffocating her. The altitude sickness is the body's way of saying: you're not used to this level of honesty. You're not used to this level of stillness. Your old coping mechanisms don't work up here. And Danzeng? His oxygen system is broken. The very thing that keeps people alive in this thin air is failing. But he's the one who fixes it. He's the guardian of the sanctuary. The sacred mountain has watched over his family for generations, and now he's the one making sure others can survive here too. There's a beautiful symmetry in that—he's literally keeping oxygen flowing to people who need it, just like the mountain has been keeping his family alive. The prayer flags are another symbol I can't stop thinking about. They appear in almost every scene. "Prayer flags danced wildly in the wind." They're not decorations—they're prayers released into the atmosphere, carried on the wind to wherever they need to go. Lin Mo sees them and feels faith become part of the landscape. Danzeng sees them at his family's guesthouse and feels home. And the hot spring—boiling water meeting cold river water, creating something perfect in between. That's Lin Mo right there. She's caught between the heat of her past and the cold current of her future, and in that meeting point, she finds something temporary but real. The sacred mountain itself is the biggest symbol. It doesn't change. It doesn't care about business profits or altitude sickness or broken oxygen systems. It just exists. And in its existence, it offers something to everyone who comes: peace, or work, or healing, or just a place to breathe. "No matter how far they traveled. No matter how successful they became. Their roots remained here."
It says a lot about an Author that can ceaselessly catalyze stories that are so incomparable to any that are out there. Thank You for sharing yet another Aimee Lynn. I think it’s impossible not to be completely enamored by anything you create. ?✨?✨
Where do I begin? I started this book when I saw it had 158 chapters. This literally became my favorite Omegaverse book of all time. The reason being is that there is so mich chravter development. Relationships are not perfect and people are not either. This shows the growth of the characters - both ups and downs. My favorite relationship is by far Lee and Dexter! I did not pay it that much attention initially. I went back and re- read their entire relationship specifically. The author does a fantastic job of putting hidden clues/ foreShadowing/ explanations WAY ahead of time. The only downside is the author ocassionally uses the wrong character name. You will know though who they are talking about and I think its fine personally since they don’t have a professioanly proof reader. If you are debating in reading this book - do it! You will be going on journey!
From my perspective, your story has a refreshing take on the isekai genre by placing the protagonist in a divine role rather than the usual hero or adventurer position. The summoning aspect adds a layer of strategy and world-building potential that, if developed well, could make for an engaging and immersive experience. However, the success of the story depends on how well it balances power progression, character depth, and stakes. If the protagonist is too overpowered without meaningful struggles, it could weaken the tension. Stronger character interactions, lore development, and a well-paced plot will be key to making this story stand out. I hope I was able to help and motivate you further to author, keep up the great work!

It's good! The world building is excellent. Cannot wait to see where it goes. If only we had something like Etarion online in real life.
I'm not that into LGBT novels but the chemistry between Fryer and Tor is undeniable. The touch of forbidden romance between vampires and werewolves makes it all over interesting.
I'm the author so what 5 star everything
This my first book on webnovel, kindly give a nice review.
