Okay so let me just say this opening is WILD. The protagonist is literally scrolling through a novel synopsis in a bathtub, her friend warns her about the electricity thing, and then—plot twist—she becomes the idiot who ignores the warning and transmigrates. I love that the story is self-aware enough to mock its own premise. And then she wakes up mid-childbirth? Not in a cradle, not as a baby, but literally on the delivery table with twins coming out? That is some next-level transmigration energy right there. The original Si Yueyue was supposed to give birth and then die of stress when she heard her husband Lei Zhen had sacrificed himself. Our girl slips in right at that critical moment and prevents the triple death. So she's already rewriting the plot just by existing. But here's what's bothering me—she only read the synopsis. She has zero idea what happens next. That's either incredibly brave or incredibly stupid, and honestly I respect both readings. The family structure is laid out pretty efficiently in Chapter 1. Three generations, six people in the main household, plus the married daughter's family. It's a lot of names to keep track of but the author does it without making it feel like a genealogy textbook. I'm curious how the plot will unfold when the original husband was supposed to die—does that still happen? Is there a way to change it? The tension of not knowing the full story but being trapped in it is genuinely compelling.
I dislike the ML as he mistreats the FL. I kinda understand that the FL used to be unruly but she has changed. And I feel like the FL might have been framed. She might not had purposely hit the girlfriend of the ML with a car. It's a pity that the ML is not the second brother.
I swear, if you'll read this book, it is like you are already in another world. Come and visit with Aliyah, she'll help us understand what is a fantasy world.
I highly recommend you to NOT READ THIS THING. It’s about a girl traumatized, treated all her life as a kidnapped child, and brutally abused, tortured and RAPED by her husband. She’s like those women who cannot be freed from their husbands, like a child who has been kidnapped for a not short time. Without will nor HOPE. This is horrible and terrifying. Making her as a culprit showing him as a poor guy in love. Mega disgusting. And this is totally unrealistic. Romantizing CRIMES is wrong. Women out there are suffering because of guys like this one. Nothing funny about it. I really hope this story isn’t picked. HORRIBLE SHIT. I read the 40 free chapters in order to be just.
Léanlo, es mi primera novela pero le veo potencial a mi parecer.
A compelling blend of action, adventure, and introspection. Its poetic descriptions and intricate world-building seems inviting us into a universe where mythology and personal growth connects.
WOW ?. This is my second time reading a novel of this genre and I'm totally hooked ?. I just love the cliff hangers and the grammar. Mr author, are you a professor??
This novel tries, and fails to be "sophisticated". The author attempts to copy Western novels but doesn't understand that readers can just go read that elsewhere. There is no attempt at even mixing Eastern and Western styles of writing (e.g. Lord of the Mysteries), just straight up Western. If I enjoyed reading purely Western style novels so much, I wouldn't be on this platform seeking something different.
Thought it was another generic Isekai tbh, but it superseded my expectations, it’s a solid 8.5/10 for me! Can’t wait to see more.
So far, I've liked the setting of the world, the idea of the power coming from the sea and every people having a connection to it, it's quite interesting, I really wish to see where this story is going, hope the author doesn't drop it midway.
Best action Comedy book i have read even.
I really enjoyed your story! From the opening lines to the internal thoughts, I was engaged throughout the tightly paced plot. Very well written and beautifully told story ?
