There's something deeply symbolic about a forgotten goddess whose temple is held together by dust and rainwater, and the only thing a rat dares to covet is her cloud-brocade — this artifact of light and craft that represents everything she built in her human life. The rat isn't just a monster, it's greed wearing fur and teeth. It's the kind of hunger that doesn't create, only consumes. And Grandma Yun? She creates. She teaches. She weaves sunset clouds into cloth and passes that knowledge to orphaned girls who survive wars. Her divinity isn't about thunderbolts or miracles — it's about continuity. About making sure that even when no one prays to you, the thing you loved still exists in the world. "As long as the weaving girls still have somewhere to stand, the cloud-brocade will keep being passed down." That's the whole theme right there. Survival isn't about being remembered — it's about being passed on. And Fengxue, who carries the weight of a past life no one believes, who fought through a Demon Den and came out the other side with her conscience intact but her reputation in tatters — she's the kind of person who keeps things going even when no one's watching. The rat's tail on the offering table, the nick on the sword, the blood that won't wash off — these are all physical proof that the dream mattered, that the fight mattered, that helping a forgotten deity wasn't pointless. The story keeps asking: what do we owe to people no one else remembers? And Fengxue's answer, every single time, is to draw her sword anyway.
I need to talk about how this section moves because honestly the pacing is wild. We start in a hospital room—peeling pears, black cards, pip lessons—and then BAM, next chapter she's being publicly slandered at school, then harassed in an alley, then fighting a man with her shoe. The author doesn't give you a single breath between scenes. It's relentless. And I think that's intentional. The story is basically saying: your life can go from 'my fiancé is feeding me fruit' to 'a pimp just offered me three hundred bucks' in the time it takes to finish a paragraph. That mirrors Wen Zhili's experience perfectly. She's not given space to process because the world won't let her. The chapter breaks are doing interesting work too. Chapter 9 ends with her walking out of class after reporting to police, and Chapter 10 opens with Huo Cheng confronting her in the hallway. No transition, no time jump explained—just collision. It feels like the story itself is angry on her behalf, like it can't wait to throw the next punch. But there's one moment where the pacing actually slows down and it's gorgeous: when Wen Zhili is beating the pimp and her hairpin comes loose, her hair cascades down, and Huo Shengbai just watches. The narrative lingers there. It's the only time in this entire section where the story stops running and actually looks at something. And it's a moment of pure visual poetry—this fierce woman, hair flowing, taking down her attacker, while the man who wants her watches like he's seeing her for the first time.
Pertamax ??? Thanks for the Books!!!!! ? ??Oh, nobody have given a review for this aside from the Authro? Let me be the first Reader to give all five stars for all five categories for your new book ????? We are all looking forward for the next chapters ???
The book's storyline is a bit complicated, chapter 1 was very long. However, the opening scene was increasingly eye-catching. Even with the long chapter, it still pushes me to read through it. Try to improve the grammar though, there are a few minor errors and typos.
I finished the current chapters and it I am just amazed. I like it and love the cultural integrations. Added to my library and will check back after more chp is available to read.
I like it! If your genuinely looking for a unique and fresh twist to the every day boring novel, this is for sure for you. Give it a go, Im sure you won't regret it!

all in all great book, dont expect 5 stars or 4 stars from me, well is there anyone who reads rating stars nowadays on webnovel?,great storytelling, good writing but readability must be improved and some parts needs to be edited as some seem out of bounds of logicall things considered if you want sci-fi read this even if you can tolerate some minor disturbances
Another masterpiece! Take my stones you lovable bastard!
The book is amazing, I really enjoyed especially the character of Rolland I hope he gets what he is looking for
Epic fights, deep lore, and apocalyptic stakes, this book delivers! Aamir Singh unlocks hidden powers while facing dark forces threatening humanity. The world-building is immersive, and the action is top-tier.The X-Men-style mutations add a cool twist, and Aamir’s dynamic with Riya is fun. A bit dramatic at times, but the cliffhangers hurt in the best way.Final verdict? If you love high-stakes fantasy with a slow-burn hero’s journey, this one’s a must-read! ??
I just read the synopsis and that alone already make me hooked to your books. Sending you All Five Stars as my support ???
