I see a lot of ppl have given up before they even started reading the novel because of the shear amount of chapters, well as a person who has read this novel far too many times to remember, i can tell you that its best that u don't binge read this novel.

its repetitive, but also very good, its like martial peak and the other old cliche novels, one of the old classics, it follows the usual troupes, and stuff like that, but i think its worth a read, atleast as a time killer, for those who are waiting for there other novels to stack up or finish their hiatus.

I really liked the plot, but d*mn its slow, the only redeeming quality to the entire book would be one single character that i won't name for the sake of spoilers, but its quite good, so as a certified heavenly poison tester & a novel fanatic, i give it a solid 7.5/10 for plot, 6/10 for story (repetitive) 9/10 for action, 5/10 for romance, (basically none).

Overall, 7.75/10

would recommend as a time killer.

I had read this a while back a few years ago, honestly its just an entertaining read as long as you skip all the gaming parts. The author didn't even try to make it make sense yet it takes up like 30% of the story if not more. Quite a few parts were exaggerated but u just gotta ignore that sh*t, ultimately its a romance and thats what u read it for, just skip all the other parts and its pretty nice.

I really want to ask writer why the heck fl's relatives are like baggage they always drag her into their mess and also hinders her growth and more than to that they are her biggest weakness, i also don't get it why the heck everyone is so dependent on her , every single character apart from ml are all depend on fl and drag her down

Ok full honesty here, I have NEVER read a female protagonist novel, and am honestly apprehensive about reading this... it hits all my prerequisites, no harem, has at least 1 Tag I have enjoyed in the past, in this case evolution, and has well above my bottom line of 3.8 stars.

So I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could let me know what to expect from the novel and the pro and cons of it, it would suck if my first ever female protagonist novel was trash and ruins all future female protagonist novels in the future...
Edit: ah screw it I'll just give It a try it's only a 100 chapters I'll probably be done in a few hours after I start.

It's a well written novel with a likable protagonist, a clear goal, nicely written side characters (I wanna say well written, but most of the important ones are in barely 10 chapters) and a nice ending. Overall, it's greatest flaw is how short it is and, for me personally, that the set-up romance never happens, tho I guess that itself also fits nicely in the story. Second biggest flaw is that the protagonist is the classic Novel child character - way smarter than any child her age should be... Tho that isn't really a problem. And the part that icked me the most during my read was the reveal of the truth, which was a minor disturbance in my read. It's also written in fppov. Overall, the flaws sound overwhelming, but most of them are not really distribing the experience. Hope you'll enjoy it. It's no Shadow Slave or Lord of Mysteries, but it's a nice story to read when you have some free time

On chapter 4519 and took a break for a couple months cause I'm getting burnt out on how long everything in this novel drags on. Came back and still feel like it's just dragging. Can't get back into it at all. At some point your just doing to much and adding to much and it gets just annoying. I think I'm gonna drop this one. Loved it for a long time but man it's just dragging.

right now I am on chapter 450 I want you to spoil something for me, will it always be MC against the world? Because it's already so draining for me, MC in this novel is either running or fighting all the time and it's so boring the f*ck*ng fights take forever to end and most of them are meaningless

A must read if you've read Coiling Dragon. But its terribly long. I remember legit skipping a volume cause i couldn't believe they were giving these side characters any limelight. I feel as if I missed nothing.
Vol 1-5 were good, dicy up till 10. Then its dogshit till like 13, then its smooth. The final few volumes were good imo.

Reading in present tense really threw me off, couldn't read very far because I couldn't get used to it. Its a small detail but made the whole reading experience a lot more challenging, much like how in Coiling Dragon everyone just keeps "laughing calmly."

Maybe I'll try again when the mood strikes.

Read 1300 chapters before dropping.A fairly solid read. Without spoiling anything, These will be what you need to know:
* Main charcter stays cold, calculated and wary of strangers through and through.
*Other than some girls crushing on MC, almost no romance.
* Action is present towards the end of the arcs lightly but action is not the key of any arc. The story and plot twists are what make this novel a gem, if it is one at all.
* The author does not have the habit of building the worlds in detail. He puts them into dialogues and you will miss a lot of the story of you don't attention and skim over.
* There are fairly good plot twists in every arc, but almost all the villains are one dimensional dumbasses who go into c*cky monologues thinking they are the sh*t before dying.
* Don't expect jumping from game world to reality and vice versa like other novels. Reality is inconsequential.

I dropped because it's like watching Fairy tail. Same story formula applied over every arc.

Its fine to just pass some time, the beginning is really good, it gave me high expectations, but I ended up being disappointed. So if you read it without having any expectations, especially from the beginning of the novel, then it's a decent read. 3/5*

Never said it was bad that there were so many after story chapters but there's no reason to make it an after story if it's longer than the actual story.

That's like if I released a video game with 5 hours of playtime and then had DLC that had 500 hours of content. I just don't get it.
