but it's got a refreshing feeling, it's more sane in the head.
i was hyped but sadly, after 220 or so MTL goes to sh*t :(

I'm currently at Volume/Book 18, and I gotta say that the tags saying "Genius Protagonis"', "Calm Protagonist ", and "Cautious Protagonist" feels like a big fat lie.

I would say that the 'Genius' part is only relating to his speed of training. Oh but the "Lucky Protagonist" tag? That one gotta be the most relevant tag here lol. More than half the time he really is just lucky to survive or have his issues solved for him. Sigh

I say this novel is a fun read if you actively turn your brain off and enjoy the ride. Don't be like me. I get too stuck on the details due to my experience with other novels. This is just my honest review to you all.

You really are a funny one, insulting people with such rage and anger. The MC kills women when they are his enemies. He only let 3 total women off from death. 2 of them he cripled their cultivation. 1 of them he sealed and turned into his lackey. ALL the rest he killed. There have been many times where it is stated that one of the people ambushing the MC to try to kill him was a woman and was killed or caused to explode or smashed to bits. All of those were statements of how they died. All of that happened before chapter 400. I'm sorry you seem to have forgotten what you read. The MC never let his enemies go even when they were women they were killed. The 2 he crippled were in the story for less than 4 chapters and they were thrown into a dungeon and used as a barter to trade back to their sect as a way to smooth over relations. Their sec killed them on the spot in front of the MC and then the sect representative became friendly with the MC and became his sworn brother.

Swallowed Star is decent but nowhere near as good as Legendary Mechanic. Swallowed Star MC has a very kind and caring personality, personally it didn't feel as if he had a strong drive. Han Xiao was much better.

ok while I haven't read this book why are you saying a god should be indifferent? a god should literally be able to do whatever they want and from myths about gods that's exactly what they have always done basically even the bible has God interfering with mortals so the only other place you could get that image of gods would be other novels which don't matter in this book the very idea that a god should act any specific kind of way especially a standard set by mortals is ridiculous

you do realize all that you stated has absolutely nothing to do with my response right? i simply commented on your notion about how a god should behave and like i stated at the beginning of my comment i haven't even read the book nor was i planning to tbh seems like too much drama happens which isn't to my taste

according to the bible god created everything and yet still flooded the earth killing lots of people and sends people to hell for eternal torment if they're bad despite god creating them and supposedly being omniscient meaning he already knows in advance who's going to do bad things so it's probably about the same tbh

his mc is biased towards some people close to him, even meddling in selecting gods and eliminating people he doesn't like
I suggest you to stop if you don't want to see a Creator who doesn't act like a god, I mean he still has emotions unlike a god in general who is cold and look down on the world

Well, if you've read the other good stuff like SS, TAPOV, and RI, you'll find them (I read this one before the rest, so for me it was ok.) But nothing too terrible tbh. Overall it's a good read, especially since the relationship with all the characters is wholesome. I honestly, don't remember much about the romance, but I think it was nice.

Still on the edge about reading this novel. I see some people say it's the second coming of Jesus and others on how awful it is. Some people say MC is cunning and smart, yet others say he is dense and stupid. So, let me ask, does the MC put himself into positions of trouble? Is the MC dense to female intimacy and affection? Is there any sm*t? Does the MC act like he is some 200IQ genius but actually brain dead, but plot armor goes brrrrrrr? I see people say character development is S tier, yet others say MC becomes more stupid as the plot progresses. What is your truth on these questions?

This is my favorite LN of all time. The quality of the character writing and development, world-building, and progression as well as the actual presence of nuanced themes in this novel are peerless. This is not a novel for those who want to journey with an indestructible mc; even though the mc does get overpowered at the end, the bulk of the story and the reader's emotional investment focus on his struggle to become not just pointlessly overpowered, but overpowered enough to do something meaningful. I will say that because this story circumnavigates the cheap instant gratification qualities that factor into a large portion of other light novels, it can feel as though it is dragging on and the author is focusing too much on depth, thus slowing the tempo down to a slow crawl. However, the author has a unique ability to ensure that even those parts of the story are valuable, so those moments end up becoming some of the most satisfying and nostalgic parts later.

Best combat writing ever.

Yeah, it's pretty hard to find without just using mtl. And no, doesn't matter which you read first. Plus it's not like any of the characters that made it to the end of Memorize would even show up before the end, except one, but that information isn't necessary to know, just fun lore if you read both. Also, in one of the side stories at the end, both the MCs have a cooking competition.
