The writing is excellent, with endearing characters that captivate your attention. Although the pacing is deliberate, it doesn't become a hindrance while reading; instead, it allows you to savor each moment. Each chapter leaves you eagerly anticipating the next installment. Despite one of the protagonists having an unlikable demeanor, you find it difficult to dislike her, even as a reader. Each character possesses a distinct backstory and personal conviction, allowing them ample room to grow and evolve throughout the narrative.

The novel is a captivating blend of various elements:

1. Absurd yet compelling romantic subplots and intense love-hate dynamics reminiscent of popular Korean dramas.
2. A vibrant, contemporary fantasy setting controlled by a corrupt parliament and corporate entities, populated with complex characters, including psychopaths.
3. Our resourceful protagonist starts as an underdog, akin to discarded trash, showcasing resilience and growth throughout the story.
4. Cheat abilities are balanced, not granting unfair advantages, maintaining a fair narrative.
5. Well-integrated core themes add depth to the story.
6. Constant foreshadowing keeps readers engaged.
7. Enjoyable interactions between supporting characters provide comic relief.

While some readers criticize the looser power structure and主角的 cheat abilities, I find them acceptable as long as they don't disrupt the story's integrity or balance. Soft magic systems, driven by convenient plot devices, can work if they align with character development and believability, without necessarily needing a strict hard magic system.

However, there were aspects I found less appealing. The theme of unlife was occasionally handled well, but at times felt forced. As a minor issue, this theme's limited impact on the plot allows for some artistic license.

The biggest disappointment came from the author's handling of a central relationship. A passionate hate-love dynamic was built up over a hundred chapters, only to be abruptly abandoned, leaving the heroine's fate seemingly unresolved. This feels manipulative and like a bait-and-switch, particularly considering the emphasis on their connection.

To clarify, a crucial plot twist involves the heroine, Elise, trapped in a time loop with a future version of the MC. They grow close, but when Elise must leave due to unforeseen circumstances, it becomes clear that their love story won't be part of the main plot. Elise forgets the time loop, and the pair maintains their usual dynamic while hints of romance persist. This sudden turn feels manipulative and unjustified, which I find disturbing.

Despite this, I'm withholding a full five-star rating, partly because the author has a history of disappointing endings. If the ending proves to be unsatisfactory, I may lower my rating to three stars.

The conclusion was satisfactory; he accomplished his objective, but I can't help feeling there's more to explore. It would be intriguing to have additional short stories delving into his and others' daily lives.
