This is a high quality read. The first few chapters are spent setting up the world and the core cast of characters and I must say I was quite immersed and can't wait to read more. The protagonist is a great well-rounded character, facing countless obstacles in her early life, but has a strong personality as is evidenced by the way she defends herself verbally and physically when a gang of bullies target her. Spelling and grammar are top top notch and the prose flows along nicely, making this easy to read and enjoyable. Highly recommended reading!

It's more of a comedy, than anything else. However, it's very enjoyable as one. I'd be happy to read more. The translation isn't perfect, but I'd say the errors are tolerable.

Pre-industrial metallurgy requires mining, coal and blacksmiths. The author who puts the blacksmith without explaining the first two is lazy. Malignant sects may have slaves digging in mines, and cutting forests to make coal, but if all the material comes from slave labor the other sects are conniving and the government supports it. If members of the external court perform this service on a seasonal basis, there are periods of the year that no one obtains these resources. See? In five minutes the author could have a history of conflict between the good and bad sects all involving a blacksmith with a system, the difficult life of an outside sect member and slaves from the evil sect.

This is a well-written piece of fantasy with beautiful descriptions. Till what I've read, there's focus on a single character and he's well sketched out, but minor interjections from other characters gave me an understanding of what to expect and I have to say, I liked how they're depicted. The author has mentioned that the development in the first three chapters is fast, but I think that's only true if you consider the flow of time. Otherwise, there are detailed descriptions of survival, and there is a focus on character development.

This novel has the best magic power release scenes I've ever read! I can visualize every detail, whether it's the intensity of the magic power, the atmosphere that should be present, or the tension on the battlefield that can be felt from the characters. It seems the author has done their homework quite well. Impressive, and I'm looking forward to more.
