A relatively large private courtyard home in the southern residential area of the Linhai Steel Factory compound. It has three main rooms (living/dining room and two bedrooms), two side rooms (kitchen and storage room), and a small bathroom. Chen Qing's parents were among the first workers at the machinery factory and her brother-in-law was a martyr, which is why they had such prime housing during the 1970s housing shortage.
