A poison with toxicity similar to arsenic though less intense. Daoists use it in alchemy; in small doses it can dispel cold and dampness but in excess it is poisonous. Commonly found in rat poison among ordinary households. Chang Qing died from yu stone poisoning, which was mixed into food or sweets and ingested unknowingly.
