Incense sticks protruding from the snow beyond the railing of the east chamber at Furong Post Station. They are different from elegant sandalwood used at home and more costly than common sticks for ancestral rites. They were extinguished by snow but stood upright, clearly placed for worship. Qi Xun notes they were deliberately purchased for offerings.
