A torture method used in interrogations where jailers press wet mulberry paper onto a prisoner's face. The victim suffers and suffocates but bears no visible wounds, sparing torturers from blame. The killer used a variation of this method on Zeng Wenhe, though possibly with a soft pillow instead of wet paper.
