A play written by Chang Qing, his fourth script, sold to Qingchun Theater for five taels of silver. It caused quite a stir when staged and made Chang Qing's reputation rise. Qi Xun read the manuscript and found it vivid in theme with coarse, bawdy passages nearly as graphic as erotic art.
