Also called red-white funerals, this is the most dangerous ritual in the village, born of two ghostly forces colliding. Red Sha are spirits of young women who died unexpectedly during marriage rites, and White Sha are spirits of men who suffered long illnesses before death. Both carry immense resentment. When their funerals collide, a powerful ritual ground is formed that can open the gates of the underworld, allowing souls from hell to return to the living world, possibly for corpse borrowing and resurrection.
