A string of Buddhist beads given by Duan Yuyan to Song Yuejiao as a farewell gift. The beads were left by Duan Yuyan's mother and given to her by her grandmother when she was five years old. They bear marks of frequent handling. Duan Yuyan hopes they will keep Song Yuejiao safe in Lingnan. Song Yuejiao wears them on her left hand.
