Also called Sister-in-law Wu or Aunt Shan, Wu Shan's wife and Wu Tong's sister-in-law. She was previously barren and swore she could not have children, agreeing to raise Tong Wazi as her own son to marry into the Wu family and live in the city. Now pregnant with her own son, she has become selfish and refuses to continue raising Wu Tong, wanting all family resources for her unborn child. She is described as shrill and unreasonable by neighbors.
