Jiang Rao's biological father. He felt guilty toward both Jiang Rao and her deceased biological mother Lin Mei. He genuinely loved Jiang Rao, giving her three eggs a day, allowing her to avoid work in the production team, and supporting her studies until high school. He was more favorable toward Jiang Rao than his daughter Jiang Yu. He wore a Zhongshan suit jacket.
