Minor character. A maidservant who accompanied Wen Ling as part of her dowry from the Wen family. She was sent by Wen Ling's stepmother and second young miss, and her attitude toward Wen Ling had been indifferent and haughty since the wedding. She was found dead, hanged from a white silk noose tied to the rafters in the antechamber, with her face twisted in agony. A hanged ghost of her continued to knock on Wen Ling's door pretending to be alive.
