Yeah, forgot that had a novel. I've been following the manhwa so I forgot sorry.
My dear~ the category is Shounen Ai which means boy's love. ?
You know I am waiting for this since round about 1 year . Do you understand the consequences if you are lying? ?This could very well trigger WW3
Just that the whole world will be against you ??
Around which chapter? I'd like to judge it for myself before I get emotionally invested into the story.
It's decent, but I decided to discontinue reading. The storyline, characters, and pacing are commendable, but the main character (MC) is overpowered to the point of nullifying any tension or growth. From where the narrative is headed, I can tell it's not the type of story I enjoy.
The MC possesses an ability called "Player's Vestige," which allows them to summon character cards and借用 their powers (even appearance if desired). This power feels unrealistic, as it instantly resolves every issue, eliminating any meaningful buildup or conflict. Additionally, the MC's PV doesn't require training, making it seem like they can rely solely on those powerful cards.
While I appreciate the MC's effort to develop their natural talents, the existence of PV undermines that aspect. Lastly, the translation quality is subpar; it appears to be machine-translated without much editing. Although Waffle's work is impressive up until chapter 40, it's not enough to keep me engaged.
This is quite a mixed review. On one hand, I appreciate the well-developed FL (Female Lead) character traits, especially her confidence and strength, which I find appealing. However, the plot lacks depth and seems repetitive, with certain character actions appearing contrived at first and then revealing their purpose later, which I view as an ineffective storytelling technique. The initial 30 chapters were unengaging due to predictability and some silliness.
In theory, with better character development, the story could be much stronger. Unfortunately, there are numerous potential improvements left unaddressed, and the pacing feels stretched. After reaching chapter 60, I decided to skip to the ending directly. Quality writing is crucial, and even an intriguing premise can be marred by subpar translation (Machine Translation, in this case), which detracts from the overall reading experience.
Taking everything into account, I would give this book a rating of 4 out of 5, acknowledging its potential but being disappointed by its execution.
Yesssss!!! Author came back from getting milk…again…
A little bit, I've stacked about 200 chap
Spoiler ahead, read on your own risk. He is indeed blind, but he undergone some operations to cure his blindness. If you have noticed, Fu Yunsheng seems uninterested to gain back his sight, but he felt encouraged later on. Thus, fortunately it was successful.
How many women he has? I'm just curious and still planning to start on reading this whether it's a harem or not. Time for a meal... or a buffet? ?
My god this is soooo gooooooddd. It's unique, unlike other yaoi or shounen ai story, there are rokance in the air, but it's really not the focus of the story. Each arc is different and meticulously written. I got tired when I reached the king arc, but when I resume reading I found actually it's still good. There are a lot of positive moral story too. I personally am a fujoshi, so I might be wrong, but I think this story can be enjoyed by non LGBTQ+ supporter, because the story didn't focus on that aspect. But for other fujoshi out there, especially ones who also like action amd fantasy genre, this is recommended for you. And, just FYI, the extras will also turn you pink 3
I really enjoy your work! I'd love to stay connected and keep up with your latest creations. Do you have any social media or email? It would be great to be in touch~
