First, please pardon my English; I'm not a fluent writer. I just want to share my thoughts on this novel, as a way of showing my appreciation.
I stumbled upon this novel as a passerby, thinking, "Oh, maybe I'll give this a read once there are more chapters." Initially, I decided to start reading when the chapter count hit around 20.
The prelude of the story was interesting, but it felt a bit lacking and didn't fully hook me right away. However, I continued reading, and by the time the chapter count reached about 50, I found myself thinking, "What happens next?" This is where some issues started to surface.
The story itself is undoubtedly good and engaging, but the plot can become repetitive at times. Additionally, the translations often leave something to be desired, especially with the point-of-view details and character names, which can be confusing.
Despite these drawbacks, I still enjoyed the novel up to the last chapter I read on the machine translation site. The novel has a certain charm that hooks you without you realizing it. The connections between the characters and their roles are beautifully crafted, and the setting is nicely done. The emotional parts, even the minor conflicts, add just the right amount of ups and downs to the story. I believe this novel fits perfectly into the slice-of-life genre.
I hope the author continues writing this piece until the end of the story, and that the translations keep going, perhaps with a slight improvement in quality.
Lastly, thank you for bringing this wonderful novel to us! It’s healing and brings joy to my repetitive daily life.
The enjoyment factor dwindled when the ML began dishonestly manipulating the MC's emotions. The plot twist occurs in Chapter 13 and remains concealed from her until almost the midpoint of Chapter 68. That's just under ten chapters before the conclusion, including the bonus chapters.
Ladies and gents… I am so, so sorry to be the bearer of bad news but… this story has been dropped. The translator got hit with a DMCA (iirc) a month ago, and nobody is seemingly picking it up. I came over from the Genius Wizard Eats Medicine fanbase to inform you all, due to both of these novels having the same translator.
Hopefully somebody picks up this novel again, and we can see this novel flourish again. Over and out friends.
I genuinely adore the series; it captured my interest from the very start and offers a satisfying reading experience. Hoxionia's translation is exceptional and consistent throughout. The world构建 is intriguing, and I appreciate the well-paced storytelling. I highly recommend giving the initial chapters a try to see if it aligns with your taste!
I'd rate this around 4.3 to 4.4 stars. The story arcs are quite lengthy, approximately 50 to 100 chapters each, but I managed to devour all the translated chapters in less than a day, so it wasn't too overwhelming. The main character (MC) begins with a meh personality after spending a decade in the hospital in her original world, but her character grows significantly throughout the story.
The focus is on the MC, and there's no romantic subplot or male lead (ML). The most notable supporting character is Psycho or Uncle School Doctor, who appeared in three arcs and holds significance due to his connection to a plane nurturing location and the MC's system's inability to detect him. If there's going to be an ML, it might be him.
While the first arc was somewhat lackluster, it's forgivable given the MC's early development. The second arc was delightful, but the third one left me frustrated with the erratic characters. Each arc has its highs and lows.
The system's personality adds an enjoyable touch, and the fact that the MC's actions improved the lives of those whose bodies she temporarily inhabited was heartwarming. Overall, the novel isn't perfect, but it's worth a try. I don't anticipate revisiting it anytime soon, as I usually read new arcs of my favorite world-hop novels immediately. I only picked this up because I had some spare time.
This is indeed a heartwarming story for those seeking a break from the harsh realities of life. I hold this novel dear, and if I had to summarize it in one phrase, it would be: "A stranger's kindness is a priceless treasure, and it's up to the recipient to pass it on." That's how the connection between FL and ML unfolds. The story weaves their lives together through different timelines, where FL experiences hardship, and ML's kindness prevails, inspiring FL to extend kindness to others as well.
While some may find the idea of two perfectly good people falling in love clichéd, I believe this novel offers a much-needed escape from today's desensitized society. It serves as a reminder of the power of empathy and connection.
I wholeheartedly adore Pei Yan – he's the ML I admire next to Yu Tu from YAMG. If I were fortunate enough to encounter someone with a similar character, he'd be my choice. His genuine nature, warmth, and thoughtfulness are so rare in today's world, which makes him all the more special.
Please do give Pei Yan's story a chance. He's a gentleman with a charming wit, always smiling and approachable. You'll find him greeting you with a grin and a pat on the back, asking about your day, before checking if you need anything. He's simply a genuinely good person.
It mtl but a good one at that
I can understand wanting to use an aggregator for the ease of keeping track of multiple releases, but please consider reading on the original translator's sites, where it is both regularly updated and properly formatted.
Since I am apparently not allowed to post the links, a quick google search for Krytyk will get you the first half of the series, and one for Karutl the second.
Is there anyone reading this with me? Let's persist to finish this. I'm at 355 by the way - still a long way to go before completing ᕙ༼◕ ᴥ ◕༽ᕗ
Well...duh! There are already official translations already
I hate ML and romance here. Granted, it's ancient China and the morals were different, but I feel like if the protagonist had been strong enough to defend herself against the ML there would be no romance.
Honestly, the difference between the stalker prince of rank 6 and the ML in terms of romance is minimal and it feels as if the protagonist has been forced to "love" the ML. And the romance here could have been that stalker prince if the Ml hadn't "saved" her.
He did though??? He both sold the equipment to the public and let his guild mates exchange for it with contribution points.
