I need to vent about Jin Mingzhu and her treatment of Jin Mingzhen because THIS IS NOT OKAY. The scene where she pours red wine over Mingzhen's head and says "This is what you owe me from the moment you were born. You'll never be able to repay it" is genuinely chilling. This girl has a dead mother, she's been forced to change her surname, she's living in someone else's home, and Jin Mingzhu is treating her like she owes her existence itself. And the worst part? Everyone just watches. The glamorous crowd by the pool, their mocking expressions, no one steps in. It's like the author is showing us this whole world where the powerful crush the weak and everyone just applauds. Jing Yuanxi's reaction of "I don't play with leftovers" was kind of harsh but also... fair? Mingzhu brought this drama to her own party. But what really got me was Mingzhen's quiet desperation. She's standing there in soaked clothes, tears streaming down her face, and she's still hoping Yuanxi will stay. "She always prayed for this during such times, because sometimes Jing Yuanxi would grow tired of these people's smug expressions." That line hit me hard. This girl is so starved for kindness that just someone showing up to her own humiliation feels like a lifeline. I'm already emotionally invested in her and she's barely had any lines.
The stakes in this section are layered in a way that keeps escalating, and I love that. At the surface level, it's a rescue mission — Chi Yu is in danger, the baby is premature, they need to get out. But then it becomes a legal and social confrontation: the Qi family schemed to steal her child and frame Zhuang Zilan as the mother. Then it becomes a physical conflict when Chi Qiao starts slapping and kicking. Then it becomes a financial stakes issue when they discover Chi Yu's dowry and everything prepared for the baby has been stolen. Each new revelation raises the question: what else are they hiding? What makes the conflict feel real is that everyone has something to lose. Chi Yu risks her life and her child's life. Qi Mingyu risks his scholarly career and social standing — that's why he can't bring himself to swear innocence. Old Man Qi risks his authority as patriarch but is willing to sacrifice his reputation to protect his second son's future. Zhuang Zilan risks her life, which is why she's so quick to fold under pressure. And the Chi family risks a full-scale clan war by showing up with twenty armed men. The suspense is maintained brilliantly through the ambiguity around Qi Mingyu. Is he guilty or innocent? The text gives us just enough evidence for both interpretations — his father's desperate protection of him, his own hesitation when challenged to swear, but also no direct proof of his involvement. That uncertainty is what makes you keep reading. You're not just waiting to see if Chi Yu gets justice, you're waiting to find out the truth about the man who was supposed to be her husband.
There's a rich symbolic layer running through these chapters. Liu Zhixia is called Divine Doctor, but we're slowly learning she's also a hidden warrior. The village sees one side of her—her healing abilities, her kindness, her willingness to help ordinary people. But the station scene reveals the other side: combat skill, quick thinking, the ability to read people and situations instantly. This duality is the core theme. She's both healer and fighter, both gentle and fierce. The marriage itself is symbolic—two people who are legally bound but emotionally separate, navigating duty and desire. Zhou Yunting's cold exterior versus his gentle treatment of Liu Zhixia when he thinks no one is watching (or when he thinks she's just a sleepy traveler) shows the tension between his public persona and private self. Tian Yunyun represents another kind of symbolism: she's the woman who stayed, who followed but never committed fully, who couldn't leave her family behind. She's everything Liu Zhixia isn't, and yet she's also everything Liu Zhixia could have been if she'd chosen differently. The wallet theft is almost incidental—it's really about power, control, and who gets to define the narrative. Shen Hao's line 'I truly have begun to envy Zhou Yunting' is the chapter's thematic anchor: even the rival recognizes that what Zhou Yunting has with Liu Zhixia is something rare and valuable.
Greetings, dear readers! It is a great honor for me that you have checked out my title! Please, don’t hit me with sticks for any mistakes you might come across—whether grammatical or plot-related. I’m not a professional writer, and this isn’t my main occupation, but as they say, why not give it a shot? This is my first work, so if my storytelling style annoys you, I apologize in advance. I still have a lot to learn and need to gain experience. However, with each chapter, I make progress—or at least, I try to.Give it a read if you find it interesting! And if not... well, read it anyway)
So far so good!? I wish there were more chapters so I could binge read it! Keep it coming author. Is his sister going to be alone of the girls he goes after?
The world feels enchanting, the characters are coming to life, and I'm already drawn into the unfolding adventure. An enticing start that promises a fantastic journey ahead!
Shows a lot of promise. Here for a long time I hope.
I was recommended this book just today and I'm almost halfway through the posted chapters and all I can say is wow,I've not encountered any error and the pace and character development is great
This novel / fanfic is average. Starting is not good with world building and very slow pace but he is trying to make it better in later half. This is story for those who like to explore different types of Pokemon worlds , especially in the old era. I have read some really great ones sadly they stopped releasing for some reason. You can skip some chapters also if you find too slow pacing will not make any impact in the story that much for earlier chapters.Author should rewrite them if he gets time.Release is also slow as if he works for 5 days a week.Author should like this review if you are reading it.
Love necromancer stories. This looks like it will scratch that itch. Crappy family- check. purposeless life- check. OP job from the get-go? -check. Let's Rock!
The concept is absolutely beautiful. I can't comment on the execution yet but the power system and abilities are wonderful. Keep up the good work author, I think this book will go quite far.
OH WOW!! What a fun new story I’ve found. It immediately grabs you and the English is very good. And what a combination!! Transmigration, interstellar landscape, cool mechas & AI, spatial pocket, werewolf mate, missing memories, unknown abilities, I’m so sad that I have to stop reading because I can’t afford the privileged chapters ?. It’s also listed as R18 but I haven’t seen any of that yet… so I’m eagerly awaiting that part too!! I just saw that the author may not continue due to an accident/health reasons and that is very sad news. Thank you Author, for your hard work so far, it’s much appreciated.
