Thank you guys for your patience in reading my book. The first book I wrote may not have had very good first chapters, but I always welcome comments and improve the following chapters. I hope you guys enjoy my book happily. Don't forget to leave me some lovely reviews to give me more motivation!
It’s a good book.
the easiest way to write a story. in every chapter the same kind os story: just change the bad guy and voilá! don't buy it!
Grammatical errors up the Ying yang. Too many storyline to follow cannot do it sorry
Wow, Valarie is super cool. I love the way she handled every obstacle that came her way. I can't wait to read how she deals with Hudson and his family.
just needs to be edited and it will be purrrfect ...
Really enjoyed the book. Looking forward to the puzzle being solved in the next one. Quite a tidbit of information at the end. Well written for your first book. Good job author!
I think this book is nice, I really love it
The author absolutely flips the genre on its head in this section and I am obsessed with the rhythm of it. We start in Lin Yuanfeng's study—dark, heavy, suffocating. The pacing is slow and deliberate, each sentence landing like a hammer. 'His daughter must bring benefits to the family; otherwise, it would have been better not to have her at all.' That's a cold opening line that sets the entire tone. You feel the weight of political marriage, the crushing of individual desire beneath family ambition. Then we cut to the Changxin Marquisate—same tension, different flavor. The family gathering, the confusion, the revelation about the three-year proposal. It's still serious but there's this weird domestic warmth underneath, like a family trying to hold it together while the walls close in. And then—BAM. Xia Xing'er's internal monologue about the Portable Space. The genre shifts from political intrigue to cultivation fantasy in a single paragraph. The pacing accelerates dramatically. She's not just a doomed noblewoman anymore—she's a reborn protagonist with OP resources. The stream becomes a river, the pavilion becomes a palace, the black soil expands from over a dozen acres to over a hundred. Time stands still inside. This is the moment the story transforms from tragedy into something else entirely. The transition from 'we're all going to die in exile' to 'actually I have invisibility talismans and foundation building pills' is the kind of pacing twist that makes you gasp out loud. The author knows exactly when to squeeze your throat and when to throw you a lifeline.
"Fake Slackers is an incredibly delightful and profound novel! It truly is a literary gem that combines the warmth of a comforting chicken soup with the quirky humor of dog food, and elegantly weaves in themes of growth. Reading it has invigorated me, motivating me to put extra effort into my endeavors, as I recall one of Dean's inspiring speeches sprinkled throughout the story.
The romantic elements were endearing, light, and innocent, and the interactions between the main characters, ML, and their classmates were portrayed with such finesse that I couldn't help but feel a touch envious of their experiences. Overall, this book is a definite must-read, and even a go-to for a refreshing pick-me-up when feeling emotionally drained or lost."
That’s what the author said in his discord
Without Context, And My Fucked Up Brain, That Second Line Sounded Sexual.
