Let me just say this: the opening scene of these chapters is cinematic perfection. Three in the morning. The crew arriving before dawn to block the scene and set up cameras because they're relying on natural light. Summer dawn breaking early. By the time the actual residents of the alley start heading out for their day, the crew has already finished and packed up. Not a single junior student helper needed to do anything because everyone was already done. This is such a specific, grounded detail that immediately tells you everything about this production — they're not some bloated state-owned studio operation with endless resources, they're lean and efficient and genuinely passionate. And then the breakfast scene! Sun Yanyan pushing the breakfast cart and being stunned by their efficiency, the mung bean soup buckets delivered by the private restaurant every day, the courtyard gathering. The worldbuilding here is so organic — you learn about the production's budget constraints, the cafeteria situation, the meal arrangements, the film stock concerns, all through casual conversation and action rather than exposition dumps. The guesthouse becomes this temporary home for the crew. Lu Wei eating steamed buns while watching the monitor. Chi Ying surrounded by junior cinematography students. The contrast between the professional seriousness of the work and the domestic warmth of their living situation creates this really lovely atmosphere. And the actual filming locations — the alley, the courtyard, the processing lab — they all feel real and lived-in. This isn't a glossy studio production; it's a movie being made by people who love movies, in real places, with real light. The world feels alive because it IS alive.
absolute peak from failedwriter 101 one of the best authors
A very silly, repetitive, nonsense novel and a very bad start. I do not advise anyone to read this nonsense. I gave it one star but it doesn't even deserve any star.
I have enjoyed every chapter so far and can not wait for the next chapters. I am curious to see how this world will turn out with the actions of the main character and his space ship.I am also happy to find a novel where the main character is not a hero in the zombie apocalypse.
This book is certainly catchy but not as intense as it has to be. Try adding a bit of intensity to it and make the Characters even more satisfactory
So it’s obviously me writing my own review, but I just wanted to talk about the stuff I wrote a bit in a place that wasn’t just the end of chapter comments. I am writing this, because I love reading fantasy manga and light novels. I create video games as a hobby, and as a part of my hobby became my job, I guess I needed something else, and this is just a way that I can try and be creative and learn something new. I gave it 5 stars because I am trying my best, and honestly I don’t cringe when I read my own chapters (totally thought I would, but I actually like my characters) if you have any feedback or suggestions, please leave comments on the chapters to help me learn more about what is actually good writing, and what is just something really lame, anyway… hope you enjoy it!
I just read the description and honestly it looks awsesome but the only thing that sucls is that the MC is and stays a F-rank even though he has a SSS-rank skill that allows him to fuse things together but honestly it would be cool if the MC can either work his way up from F-rank or finds something that allows him to raise his rank or taks some kind of fruit or something that is supposed to strengthen ur rank or whatever but have him find a lot of them and I mean A LOT and have him eat them all at one time have him raise his rank that way but have it almost kill him and give hi incredible pain or something.... and at the same time have it come from a tree or something that can be taken an replanted somewhere where he can keep it safe and then have him get other special things that will help him and the things he fuses together and have the special things he gets and brings back to the place where he can keep them safe have them grow and/or become more powerful when they get used so how ever he grows them or raises them its special and then they become special... hope this helps with ideas!!!
Well, I waiting for the silent but steady growth of the ML due to the influence of the FL....
Alright, this is my first review on this app (so Sloth, you can feel proud about it ?).As you’d expect from Sloth, who is, in my opinion, one of the best authors on this app, the writing quality of this novel is top-tier. When I read, I feel completely immersed in the story, and I can’t wait for the next chapter to be released. The world-building is still in its early stages, but from what I’ve read so far, there’s a lot of potential for depth and creativity. I’m excited to see how it unfolds as the story progresses. The power system in this novel is particularly unique. Kael’s (MC) talent to transform beasts with even a trace of dragon bloodline into full-fledged dragons is an interesting concept. It also adds emotional depth through the “Shared Growth” mechanic, where Kael grows alongside his dragon companions, which makes their bond even more significant. As for Kael himself, from what I’ve seen so far, he actually uses his brain (unlike many other MCs in some novels). Of course, there’s still room for character development, but that’s to be expected since we’re still in the early chapters. To conclude, this novel has great potential. With Sloth’s fantastic writing, the power system, and the promising world-building (even though it’s not fully fleshed out yet, I trust Sloth—he never disappoints), this is definitely a story to read. Give it a shot, guys.
I really loves this Fantasy Novel. I got a feel of where the author wants this story to end with a Happy Love Ending...
good book ...has a good Sense of humor ...
This is a good story, I loved it. Good thing I found this. The Manhwa is quite good too, it's great that the novel is available online to read as well.
