I have to talk about the atmosphere in this book because the author really knows how to paint a scene and make you feel like you're actually there. Let me start with the opening — the supercars pulling up. A Koenigsegg and a Lamborghini Veneno. These aren't just random expensive cars, they're specific, rare, and they immediately tell us about the world these characters live in. This isn't a normal university setting. These kids have money, status, connections. The Koenigsegg having only six in the world? That's a detail that makes the world feel real and layered. Then the KTV private room — colorful lights swirling, boys packed in, the whole atmosphere of a Chinese university welcome party. I could literally see this scene like a movie. The author describes Shen Xiuyu pushing open the door and the boys greeting him with "Brother Yu is here" and it immediately establishes his social position. He's not just popular, he's a leader. His friends follow him everywhere. The room erupts when he enters. But the most powerful visual motif in this entire batch is that tattoo. It appears three times. First when Ruan Tiantian sees it on his forearm and feels scared. Then when she looks at it during the dice game and her eyelashes tremble. Then when he puts his arm around her shoulder and she trembles again. The tattoo is described as resembling a coiled dragon but hard to tell exactly what creature it is, with eyes like a venomous snake. This is clearly symbolic — it represents the darkness inside Shen Xiuyu that Ruan Tiantian can sense even now, before he becomes the murderer she knows him to be. The tattoo is his future self made visible, and she's the only one who can see it clearly. The contrast between the bright, noisy KTV and Ruan Tiantian's internal fear is also really well done. Everyone else is having fun, drinking, laughing, while she's sitting there trembling. That dissonance creates this haunting atmosphere that stays with you.
I'm not going to lie — I got genuinely emotional during this section. Not the big dramatic crying kind, but that quiet ache in your chest when you read something that just *lands*. It was when Chi Yu, half-conscious in the rain, hears her sister's voice and manages to whisper "Big Sister" before passing out. That's it. That's the whole moment. Two words, and the author made me feel the weight of seven months of suffering, of being alone in a hostile household, of carrying a premature baby while being hunted by your own family-in-law. The fact that Chi Qiao says she heard those two words "clear as day" and that certainty is what makes her heart ache even more — it's such a tender detail. And then there's the relationship between Chi Qiao and her two sisters-in-law, Huang Dani and Chen Xiaomai. The text tells us these two always treated Chi Yu "like a precious pearl in the palm of their hand," and honestly that line made me soft. In a story full of betrayal and scheming, having characters who genuinely love someone without any agenda underneath it is refreshing. They come along not for glory but because they couldn't stay behind while their little sister suffered. The emotional contrast with Madam Shen is almost comedic in how badly written her villainy is. She shows up with a swollen face claiming Chi Yu beat her, and Chi Qiao's response is basically: you're lying and I'm about to prove it. The slap that follows — the one that knocks Madam Shen down and makes her spit out a tooth — is cathartic in the best possible way. Sometimes you just need to see a bully get what's coming to them, and the author delivers that moment with zero restraint.
From my perspective, your story has a strong foundation with its classic hero’s journey setup. Kevin’s role as the chosen Four Swords Master gives the story a sense of destiny and responsibility, which can be compelling if developed well. However, the novel could benefit from more polished writing and deeper world-building. The pacing should allow readers to connect with Kevin’s struggles and victories rather than rushing through key moments. Additionally, expanding on the lore behind the Four Swords Master could add more depth to the story. Overall, it’s a promising concept, but its impact depends on execution. Don't worry author, don't be pressure on what I said, cause I also need to improve with mine, just want to point out and help someone I know who also need to stand out through his/her work. You deserve such, as you also work hard in your passions and creation. Keep up, your wonderful work, author!
Absolutely captivating storyline AuthorKeep it up ??Story development topnotchCan't wait for more chapters releases...Can't seem to drop this down
Never mind the shameless perfect rating because I'm here to explain what's this story about (in case you aren't hooked by the synopsis) and let you decide if this is a must-read story, good for passing time, or it's turn to be a waste of your time!1. This has a mainstream premise where the MC, a modern guy, get isekai'd into a game/novel world (in this case, it's a game) but he doesn't get to live as one of the characters. Not the main characters, side, or even an extra, but an outsider. He's there as himself.2. MC starts as a normal human without awakened abilities. Worse, he spawns in the monster territory. For few first chapters (at least 20) it will be about how MC survives and escapes that place.3. Despite being a modern guy and YOUNG, MC is not a wishy-washy, upholder of justice, and anti-killing protagonist. For some unrevealed (not yet) reason, his way of thinking is like a survivalist. Mainly, he's calm and composed. When panics, he will, mostly, be quiet, but quickly to regain his composure. When desperate, he's like that one awkward guy who try to be funny.4. Every transmigration novel should have an ACADEMY ARC! And yes, there is one here, too! But well, just note that it is only a subplot.5. Unfortunately for those fancies overpowered MC, this one may not be for you. But don't let it be the reason to not read this, at least give it a chance. MC is a zero to hero protagonist. He's not completely untouchable even with his knowledge of the future and combat experiences he got from virtually playing the game.6. MC's cheat code is the ability he gets after awakening. Spacetime manipulation. But this what makes him a zero to hero instead overpowered, implying that MC may be stronger amongst his peer in physical combat, but when it comes to use his ability, he's the worst. (In the game, he only needs to activate/trigger the skill to use it. But since the game element doesn't exist, he has a hard time controlling his ability, more so when it's about manipulating spacetime, which no one other than him possess that kind of ability so no one can teach him the principle.)And damn! Why is it that my brain works smoothly when writing all this but errors when writing the actual novel?! Anyway, if you are still unconvinced and want to ask more questions to satisfy yourself to decide this novel's fate, feel free to ask!
Author has no idea how actor agencies work and how humans began. In chapter 51 There is fire people are about to day but an Actor is just making a live stream like come on ITS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN AND HE WOULD DESTROY HIS LIFE AND ACTING FUTURE EVEN MORE.And then at the same film set like what that one commenter said its fcking unrealistic to have an Idiols Manager accept that she will be staying with 2 other boys for 3 WHOLE DAYS.If one of the background extras/actors filmed it and posted it on some random social media then either the Idiols Career or the male people who are staying with her will be ruined because that sadly how korean fan culture works. And then there is the fact that a veteran actor acts like an Child. The Author really needs a proofreader and if he has ine he needs at least ro have a reader who although cures a lot but seems to be the only one giving actual feedback.
Is there romance in this novel? please no it holds back the MC
Wow, the chapters never fail to give me chills! Ivie's vision felt so real, and the creepy cat and bloodstain made it even more intense. The hotty priest is super intriguing—I can't wait to see how he fits into the mystery. Loving the suspense so far! Ivie, I know you want to, but please, I beg you, don't kill him, we wanna see you with him, not with his deadbody?
Hansora is the queen of Green Flag MLs. Reading her books fills me with great satisfaction and calmness. Knowing she will do justice to her characters where her MLs will always support and protect the FLs. Among all the abuse ladden books where FL is tortured by the ML and she experiences Stockholm Syndrome which is portrayed as love, Hansora's books stand out. They are like the breath of fresh air. This book is no different and I love love how Rudi is being written. You go girl, I am proud of you. Rooting for you and wishing you best of luck.
Yeah, it's a five-star read. If I had to describe this WN in one word, it would be underrated. It deserves more attention and recognition. The author has a knack for writing, and while it's still too early to say much about the story, the writing is solid. Keep it up—I'm looking forward to seeing how it develops. You've gained a loyal reader, and you’ll probably see my comments on every chapter (maybe).
The humor is out of this world ......love the battering
