Okay so I need to just sit with this for a second because the reveal in this chapter is absolutely chef's kiss. Lu Dantao has been running her ass off for over a month, eating in the wind and sleeping in the open, convinced she's saving the male lead. And what does she get? A plot twist that makes her question literally everything she thought she knew. The moment she overhears those assassins talking — 'that brat surnamed Xue inherited the blood of the Defender Duke' — and her brain goes through this entire process of connecting dots? 'Xue Yao, Xue... Yan Yun, Xue Yan Yun... XUE YAN YUN!' I literally gasped out loud. The way the author plants all these breadcrumbs earlier (Xue Yao caring about the Xue Family Army, killing the old physician when he mentioned the Xue family heir, asking about Pei Di the moment he woke up) and then having Lu Dantao retroactively realize 'no wonder' is so satisfying. It's like the author was playing 4D chess while we were all just enjoying the ride. And then the nail in the coffin — the analysis post version 8.0 about the NPC stand-in theory. The comparison to winning the lottery and finding out the ticket is from the previous draw? That's not just a plot twist, that's an emotional gut punch wrapped in a plot twist. Lu Dantao didn't just save the wrong person, she saved an NPC while the actual male lead was probably somewhere else being a male lead. The narrative structure here is so tight — every earlier scene gets recontextualized, and it makes you want to go back and reread everything with fresh eyes.
This novel is a masterpiece I have never read anything different like it. It's on a different level.♥️
This novel is very wonderful, the hero is crazy and looking for a solution, his goal is to take revenge on those who insulted him, it is beautiful and can be read, I recommend it
I read it about halfway through, and honestly, it is a very interesting book. I really like how the Biocores differ from the regular cultivation that WN offers; a very fresh start for me. Mind you, I don't read too many apocalyptic books, but decided to turn this into my first, and it is definitely a pleasant read. I like how the character and book dives into a field that's different from what other books show. he isn't some battle maniac diving into just fights, but there is weapon designs and much more, which is a neat thing. Still gonna read more to see how the character design carries forward, but I see potential in the story development. Although I love evil mc's or unorthodox mc's, I'm hoping this one won't be toooooo cliched.

Almost like his previous novel but this one comes with a more unique approach. it's funny and the MC is wonderfully hilarious. I had a few laughs while reading. Also, understandable system. The author has just posted 4 chapters when I'm making this review and i can't wait for more!!. If you're looking for a hilarious MC with an amusing narrative still bolstered with action, this is for you.Highly recommend!!.

Huh... its actually good?Only a few chapters so far, but the mc is not overly arrogant or a whitewashed hero, which is a win for me. Good plot-progression coupled with an interesting and unique world that has been built leads up to a really good story that I find myself hooked to.Please release more chapters!
